Chapter 33 - Telling The Girls

1 Week and 4 Days Later - June 9th

10 Weeks and 2 Days

"I'll be back in two nights I promise. If he makes me stay longer I will tell him where to stick it," I said as Dave put my bag in my car. He closed the door and then walked over to me.

"Babe we're going to be fine. Stop worrying about the girls and I and focus on you and our little one. You make sure you eat and drink lots of water. You don't want a repeat of last week right," Dave replied as he pulled me away from the car into his arms.

"No but I was going to eat and then Ophelia asked to go swimming and then the girls got home. I promise I won't cause another repeat. You know you could come with me," I said as I got excited.

"I think I'll stay here. Seeing you in a wedding dress might give me ideas," Dave responded with a wink. I shook my head slightly and chuckled.

"Ya maybe it's best you don't come. You don't need any of those kind of ideas for a long time," I said back and he laughed.

"I will wait until you and Abby are both dropping hints at me. How long until you have to absolutely leave?" Dave asked. He raised his eyebrows at me a couple of times and I just shook my head.

"You can wait two days. Besides we just did that and your mom is going to be back with Abby and the girls soon," I replied.

"Fine I'll wait but when you get home, you can't use the excuse 'but your mom is down the hall' deal?" Dave asked as he let go of me and held his hand out to me. I took it and shook it.

"Deal. Ok I need to go before the girls get home or I will never leave," I said and pulled him in for a kiss.

Dave pressed me close to him, wrapped his arms around me and picked me up slightly as we kissed goodbye. I hated saying goodbye to him because it just reminded me of the way it used to be. When he finally put me back on the ground he put his forehead against mine.

"Love you," he said softly.

"Love you too. I'll miss you," I replied and he kissed me again before he let go of me.

"I'll miss you too. Go before I pull you back into the house and never let you leave," Dave said and stepped back a bit.

"Bye babe," I said as I walked around the car.

Dave said bye as I got in and buckled my seatbelt. I waved as I started the car and drove towards the gate. As I rounded the corner, Abby was coming towards the house. We both stopped so the girls could say goodbye to me. After that I stopped at the gas station to get gas and some munchies for the road and at night before heading to Jacob's parents house. When I got there, Jacob was ordering pizza while some woman was looking through a rack of dresses.

"Oh my god you're here!" Jacob exclaimed after he hung up. He walked over and we hugged before he turned around and pointed at the woman. "That's Jackie. She's the designer of the dresses. Jackie this is Brittany my best friend and the model I got for us." Jackie turned around and walked over to us. We shook hands and exchanged how are yous before she went back to the dresses.

"Girl what did you do? Something is different," Jacob said as he looked me up and down.

"Nothing really. I'm not dying my hair blonde anymore," I replied.

"No it's something else. Did you go up a cup size? Did Dave pay for that?" Jacob asked. He whispered the last question so only I could hear but I knew he was joking. I smacked him playfully and we started laughing.

"Yes they are and no he didn't. I might as well tell you now before everyone finds out but you can't say anything," I replied.

"My lips are sealed," Jacobs aid and acted like he was pulling a zipper across his lips before saying, "Now spill it girl."
