I woke up early the day after Dave's birthday party to Joshua crying. I got up and ran across the hall to his room and picked him up. I walked out onto the balcony and sat down on the couch with him and fed him. When he was done I stayed there and held him until Lachelle came in looking for us.

"Morning mama. Morning Joshua. Is daddy still sleeping?" She asked as she got up on the couch with me.

"Yes he is and no you can't go jump on the bed and wake him up," I said when I saw her about to open her mouth.

"But daddy likes when I wake him up," Lachelle said back

"But daddy had a uh long night last night," I responded with. I heard a noise and looked up to see Dave yawning and scratching his head.

"Daddy's up!" Lachelle shouted when she saw Dave and he grabbed his head.

"I think daddy needs some Advil and a quiet day," I said and Dave just nodded his head.

I got up and he took Joshua from me and I went to our bathroom to get Advil. When I walked out of the bathroom with the Advil and water, everyone was now in the bedroom. Dave was finishing changing Joshua when I walked over to him. He held out his hand and I put the Advil in them. He took them and then took the water from me. We all headed downstairs and while Dave sat on the couch with Joshua I made pancakes with Lachelle. Lachelle's job was mixing and putting in the chocolate chips. When the pancakes where done we all sat around the coffee table and ate. I took Joshua and started feeding him when Dave decided to finally talk.

"You ok after yesterday?" Dave asked when I sat back down beside him with coffee after doing the dishes. Before Dave's birthday party, we had gone to the doctors and found out that i may not be able to have another baby. If I did manage to get pregnant I would need to have a c section instead of delivering normally.

"Ya I guess. It doesn't matter though. He was the last one," I replied as I started going through Instagram.

"Hey come on. You can talk to me and tell me how you're feeling and what you're thinking. Come on talk to me," Dave said. He elbowed me playfully a few times until I smiled slightly.

"I'm fine. We agreed no more after him so me not being able to have anymore is perfectly fine," I said as my eyes started watering up. Dave put a hand on my back and started rubbing it as I started crying.

"She said it's possible you still can have another one. You crying over this just means that deep down you wanted another one. If you want another one in a couple of years then we can try. If we have problems, we'll try IVF or a surrogate or we can even adopt," Dave said. I looked up at him and smiled through my tears.

"You wouldn't mind having another one if it happened right?" I asked.

"Of course I wouldn't. We make cute babies. Just look at him," Dave responded with. I looked down at Joshua as he stopped feeding and looked back at me.

"We do make cute babies. Maybe in a few years we can try for another little one if you want to," I said.

"You got it babe," Dave said and leaned in to kiss me.

"Britt is that you?" I heard Dave yell from upstairs after I close the door behind me.

"Ya," I yelled back as I headed towards the kitchen. I put my purse on the counter and carried the bag of groceries over to the fridge. I started putting them away and humming as I went. I heard foot steps on the stairs as I put the last thing away. I was pouring a glass of apple juice when Dave walked in with his hands behind his back.
