Chapter 19 - I'm Having The Day From Hell

I woke up the next day and Dave was still sleeping so I got up and showered. I put on pjs afterwards because I didn't blow dry my hair and I didn't want my shirt wet. I headed downstairs and into the living room. The couch was empty but there was a note on the blanket. I walked over and read it.

"I left when Abby and Taylor left. Sorry for not saying good bye but you were sleeping. I also didn't want to wake up the handsome man beside you. You guys just looked so cute together. Call me when after you see this. Jacob."

I started a pot of coffee and headed upstairs to grab my laptop and phone. I opened my door and saw he was still sleeping so I tiptoed over to my side of the bed and grabbed my phone. Dave rolled over so he was facing me and I just stood there waiting to see if he'd get up. I sighed and smiled when he stayed asleep. I grabbed my laptop from the desk and headed down stairs. I opened my laptop and started my Spotify before calling Jacob. When he answered he just talked.

"Oh my god girl. Jordyn is flipping shit this morning. She asked me if Dave came over to your place last night and I told her you drove me home. I told her I haven't seen Dave since last night. You need to get him the fuck out of your bed and send his sexy ass home before she finds a way to get your number. I told her I wasn't going to give it to her because you didn't tell me I could and that made her flip out even more. Things are bad Britt. He left his phone after they fought last night. Oh I love that song," Jacob said, finally shutting up when 2 hookers and an 8 ball by Mindless Self Indulgence started.

"Ok well he can leave when ever he's ready. I'll talk to him and see what he wants to do but Dave is a grown ass man and can do what he wants. I'll talk to him when he gets up. Abby went to Taylor's?" I asked as I got up and started making myself a cup of coffee.

"Ya. You get the day to yourself once you tell him to go home. Tell him to go home and defuse the situation. Oh I gotta run. That cute guy I told you about last night is here. On second thought, screw Dave's brains out and then send him home," Jacob replied. I started laughing as I made a second cup for Dave.

"Ya ok. I'll get right on that. Bye Jacob," I said and then hung up.

I don't know why but I opened up the studio schedule on my laptop. I had a feeling something bad might happen. My senses where on high alert after the bathroom incident with Jordyn and I wanted to be safe. I ran upstairs with both cups of coffee and blow dried my hair before heading into my room. Dave was sitting up in the bed looking confused.

"Morning sleepy head. I come bearing coffee," I said as I walked over to the bed.

"Good morning. Do you know where I may have put my phone?" Dave asked as he took the coffee I handed him.

"You left it at home. You came in here at 3:30 in the morning," I replied.

"Fuck. I'm going to be in so much shit. I should just move the fuck out already. Fuck," Dave said and put the coffee down. He put his head in hands after and I felt terrible. I decided to leave so I picked up my coffee and started walking towards the door.

"Why are you leaving?" he asked as I got to the door. I turned around and leaned against the door.

"Because it's my fault. This is all my fault. You wouldn't be here if I hadn't come along," I replied as I looked down into my coffee. I looked back up as Dave spoke.

"Hey stop that. Come back over here," Dave said and held his arms out to me. I put my coffee on the desk and walked over to him. He pulled me down into him and onto the bed. He dipped me a bit causing me to laugh. When he sat me back up, he looked at me and caressed my cheek.

"None of this is your fault. I came here because this is where I want to be. Yes I want to be here because of you but that is the only thing that is your fault. I want to be where ever you are because you make me happy," Dave said. We looked into each others eyes and then Dave started tickling me.
