5 Weeks Later - October 25th

30 Weeks

"Why did you buy body paint?" Dave asked as he helped me take stuff out of the bags. The girls and I were going to be decorating pumpins and doing crafts this weekend.

"Because Abby is going to help me make this into a pumpkin," I replied and pointed at my bump.

"Why not a cabbage?" Dave asked and made one his weird faces.

"Ha ha you're so funny. It's halloween so we're doing a pumpin. If I'm ever pregnanat like this around easter it'll be an easter egg. Hey I got black and red too for the bump shoot," I replied.

"I can only imagine what you got planned," Dave said as he held up a yellow bottle.

"You already know what I'm going to do. Sorry I didn't come to the studio this morning. I was really tired. Plus I had shopping to do," I replied as Dave put down the bottle of yellow paint.

"It's fine. You should be resting more and staying off your feet anyways," Dave said as he walked over to me.

"I will stop in two weeks when you force me into materenity leave," I said and went ack to going through the bags. I stopped when Dave grabbed one of my arms and turned me to face him.

"Do you promise?" Dave asked as I looked at him.

"Yes I promise. Why are you not at the studio now though?" I asked in return.

"Half day. The guys had some things to do this with their families," he replied.

"Ok but that doesn't explain why you're home. You usually stay and work," I said as Dave walked over to the fridge.

"I could have but maybe I wanted to just come home and see my crazy girlfriend who trips over her feet. Careful there," Dave said as I trippped slightly but saved myself by grabbing the counter.

"I'm not use to being this clumsy. I mean I'm clumsy but the bump makes it worse," I replied as I walked over to the couch. Dave came and joined me as I picked up my laptop.

"Another reason why you should stay off your feet more," Dave said teasingly. I put my feet up on the coffee table and then turned to look at him.

"There my feet are up and I'm off of them," I said with a smirk.

"Smart ass," Dave responded with as the door bell went off. Dave got up to get it as I started going through emails. When he returned, Josh was with him.

"You're going to miss that when that little one arrives," Josh said as he walked over to me. He was probably referring to me resting my laptop on my belly.

"A little bit. Hi by the way," I sais as we hugged the best we could with me sitting down.

"Hello. So I hear there's some baby furniture to put together," he said and turned back to Dave.

"Upstairs Josh. I'll be there in a second. Need to talk to her about something quickly," Dave replied as Josh grabbed a beer from the fridge.

"Sounds good. See you later Britt," Josh said and then headed upstairs as Dave walked over to me.

"What do you need to talk to me about?" I asked as he sat down. Dave then put his hand on the back of my neck and pulled me in for a kiss. When he pulled away I opened my eyes and just smiled at him.

"Nothing. Just our usual conversation," Dave replied with a wink and then headed upstairs to join Josh.

I answered some emails before Abby and Jacob both texted and said they where on their way. I grabbed a couple of beers and headed upstairs to check on the boys. They had put together the change table and were starting on the crib when I walked in.
