Ariana

Monday 12:34 pm

"How are you?" Justin asks.

"Fine. Why?"

"Just asking. What are you doing?"

"Watching TV."

"What are you watching?"

"Keeping Up with the Kardashians."

"That show is so stupid. How do you do it?"

"Because I'm bored out of my mind."

"That explains it. Is North on there? I like her."

"She is. Wearing a white crop top and white shorts. She's Penelope's twin."

"That's nice. Hey. I have a question."

"What?"

"My boss told me to ask you if you'd be a temporary model for Calvin Klein. Maternity wear."

"I didn't know they had maternity wear."

"They didn't. It's new. They just wanted to test it. And you are the perfect match for what he's looking for."

"He?"

"Yes. My boss is a he."

"I thought maternity wear would be the girl's job. What's her name?"

"Leilani. And it's kind of both of their jobs. He just wanted me to ask you."

"Oh. I'll think about it."

"Good. I gotta go. Love you, baby."

"Love you too." I hang up and put my phone down.

I watch KUWTK until I get hungry and decide to go to my mom's house. She would be at work but Frankie's probably there. And even if he's not, Toulouse is.

1:15 pm

I pull into the driveway and turn my car off. I love driving it but I barely do.

I walk up to the front door and put my key inside.

"Franklin!"

"Is that you little sis?"

"It is." I smile at Toulouse as he sits at my feet.

He knew not to jump on me because I'm pregnant.

"Ok. Well, umm, don't come up here. I'm busy."

"That is gross. You always find a way to disgust me." I walk into the living room and sit on the couch.

Toulouse jumps up and I start rubbing his head.

"You should really call before you come." Frankie walks in and sits across from me.

"Not if I have a key."

"I'll get the locks changed."

"No you won't and I still won't call."

"Why are you so stubborn?"

"Ask mommy. She's at work, right?"

"Yeah. She'll be home early though. Around 2:30."

"Oh. I probably won't be here then."

"So why are you here in the first place? I was busy."

"You are disgusting."

"That's what happens when you leave me home alone. I get bored and-"

"Okay, okay! That's enough. I get it."
