Ariana

Wednesday, 2:55 am

"If you're travelling with young children, you may board."

"That means us." Justin says.

"We get to board first either way. This is the best day ever." I smile and Justin laughs.

We stand up and walk to the door where all four of our tickets are checked before walking onto the plane. Of course, my baby got us first class because he's the best, so we find our seats and Justin places Aviella in the one across from us. Not because he's a horrible dad, but because Aviella specifically said she wanted to sit by herself, or as close to by herself as possible.

After Justin buckles Aviella's seatbelt, he comes to his seat next to me. He let me sit by the window so I could have more privacy when I had to feed Bella because this flight was four hours long and she ate almost an hour ago.

"Are you ready for New York/Hawaii?" Justin asks.

"I'm more than ready." I smile, adjusting Bella on my chest.

She kept drooling on me and I kept moving her to different places on my body.

"I think her insides are made of saliva." Justin says.

"I really think I could sleep in this chair every night." I say.

I know I'm not supposed to recline my chair until the plane talks off but I had to test it out. It's the most comfortable chair I've ever sat in.

"I'm gonna buy a plane that only has first class and use it for my own personal travels." I tell Justin.

He looks at me with a smirk on his face.

"What?"

"That's called a private jet."

"Oh. Shut up." I roll my eyes, looking out the small window. It's obviously pitch black outside but of course there's lights for people to see what they're doing with the planes.

I watch them walk around doing their jobs until everyone has boarded and things actually start happning.

The flight attendants do their little presentation, which I pay no attention to because I'm too busy trying not to fall asleep. After the couple hours I slept with Justin, I was awake until we left.

3:16 am

"Thank you, everyone, for choosing to fly with American Airlines and we hope that you have a safe and comfortable flight." The pilot says.

Now we finally start moving. The plane goes faster and faster on the runway before finally lifting into the air. I wait until the seatbelt sign turns off to recline my very comfortable chair and Justin does the same. We both go to sleep and stay asleep for almost two hours.

5:28 am

Aviella was awake now and watching Croods in her own seat. I say that because she woke up to lay/sleep with Justin a little earlier.

The flight attendants didn't even care. We can basically do whatever we want in First Class, except for blow up the plane. But that still leaves a lot of stuff for us to do.

Justin was sleeping so deeply, someone could've mistaken him for being dead, and Bella was wide awake. Why was I not surprised?

She was 'watching' her favorite show, Mickey Mouse, and I was watching Netflix on my laptop, which I carried in Bella's diaper bag.

Speaking of Bella, it was almost time for her to eat, and I wasn't gonna try to wait because she's like her mom when she's hungry. Loud and upset. I wasn't trying to wake the whole plane with my daughters crying.

"Mommy?" I look over at Aviella, who now has her iPad out as well as the movie on.

"What is it, princess?"

"What's two plus two?"

"Baby, why is that important?"

"Because I'm playing a game and I have to know what two plus two is."

"It's four. Is that all?"

"Yep. Thanks, mama." She smiles before going back to her electronic multitasking.

I wish I could be asleep like my husband, but sleeping on a plane is not as easy as it seems, even in First Class. I just can't focus on sleeping, because I'm paranoid about the plane crashing or something being wrong with Bella while her parents are asleep and her sister isn't paying any type of attention whatsoever.

I wait another thirty minutes before Bella starts to get fussy, of course, because she's hungry.

5:54 am

"Alright, babe. I know it's time for you eat."

I hide Bella under her blanket so she can eat in peace then continue watching Netflix until she's done and asleep.
