Ch. 143

Ariana

Monday, 6:27 am

"Go to sleep!" I groan, banging my head into my pillow with every word.

"I don't think she can understand you." Justin says, rubbing my back.

"I know she can't." I sigh.

Bella had kept us up almost all night. She only slept for about an hour and a half, but not all at once. She slept for about fifteen to twenty minutes then she woke up for thirty minutes to an hour. I only slept for about two hours and Justin slept for around four.

I'm pretty sure Aviella was still asleep but neither of us checked. We were both just laying in bed, hoping that Bella would go to sleep. She had been awake for two hours now and while she was having a blast, it was definitely not fun for us.

"This sucks. I think I'm gonna die of sleep deprivation." I say.

"Go take a shower. You'll forget about sleeping."

"How about Starbucks? That sounds like a much better idea. I think that's what I'll do." I sit up and Justin laughs.

"Whatever you want, queen. I'll just stay here, wide awake with your daughter, who won't go to sleep."

"Are you trying to get me to take her with me?" I raise an eyebrow.

"Is it working?"

"Nope."

"Than absolutely not. Go ahead and get your Starbucks."

"Do you want something?" I ask.

"You know it. Justin wants a strawberry banana smoothie and a chocolate chip cookie."

"What did I tell you about referring to yourself in the third person?"

"Nothing. You told me absolutely nothing."

"And you are absolutely right. I'll be right back. Wait! What do you think Aviella wants?"

"Blueberry muffin and chocolate milk."

"That'll work. I'll see you in a few minutes, babe." I walk over to the bed and kiss Justin on the lips.

"You better be asleep when I get back or you're grounded." I tell Bella.

She just giggles. Of course she does.

I slip on my sandals and grab the keys to the car before leaving the room. Once I get down to the parking lot, I locate the car and get inside. The sun is starting to rise, but it's hard to tell because it's very cloudy. It might just rain today.

6:36 am

Starbucks isn't far so it doesn't take long to get there. It's empty, except for a woman sitting at a table with a coffee.

"Hello, welcome to Starbucks. What can I get for you?"

I tell her the everything in the exact order of how it entered my brain, meaning me, Justin, then Aviella. After I pay, I sit down at a table and take out my phone. Justin had already sent me two messages even though I just saw him two seconds ago.

I shake my head, putting my phone in my purse. After a few minutes, the cashier calls my name. I go to collect my order before leaving the store.

6:43 am

I get back to the hotel and make my way to our floor and down the hall to our room. Justin is too excited to see me.

He practically chokes me to death when I open the door.

"Finally! She's a nightmare." He says.

"She's not that bad."

"You're never allowed to leave me alone with her again. She missed you too much."

"That's not gonna happen."

"But she hates me."

"She does not. Now let me drink mt coffee in peace so I can wake up."
