"Toulouse, I'm hungry!" Toulouse lifts his head up and stares at me, before putting his head back down.

I roll my eyes and start flipping through channels.

"I'm back!" I hear Justin's voice from the front door.

He walks into the living room and I look at him.

"What are you doing here?"

"Bringing my wife lunch. Is there anything wrong with that?"

"Not really. I am hungry, and Toulouse doesn't care."

"That's what I'm here for. Toulouse, that's wrong." Justin sits down next to me, placing a bag of food in his lap.

"What is that?"

"Chinese."

"I knew there was a reason I loved you."

"This isn't the only one, right?"

"No, of course not." I giggle.

We both eat our food and talk until Justin has to go back to work. I kiss him goodbye and watch him walk out of the door before returning to the couch with Toulouse.

1:46 pm

"Ms. Webb!" Alexa yells.

"Yea, Aviella?" Ms. Webb walks to our table and I look up at her.

"That was Alexa." I mumble, looking back down at my spelling words.

"Yes, Alexa?"

"I need help with this word."

Ms. Webb helps Alexa before leaving to help another girl named Tessa. She tried to be my friend on Monday but then Alexa told me that she only wanted to be my friend because her older sister wanted to come to my house and meet my daddy. Something about him being a model.

But, Alexa said it, and Alexa's my best friend so I always listen to her, and she always listens to me.

"Hi, Aviella." I turn around and see Tessa standing behind me.

"What do you want?"

"I want to be your friend, and I promise it's not because of my sister anymore. I really want to be your friend. My sister got in trouble for making me do it."

"Are you sure? Because I won't let you if you're lying." Alexa says.

"I'm not lying. Pinky promise." Tessa holds out her pinky and I look at Alexa, who nods her head.

"Okay." I lock pinkies with Tessa and Alexa does the same.

"You're our friend now." I say.

"Can I come sit with you? I don't like sitting with Ava and Harley. They call me names."

"Yeah. You're our friend now. Now we can do everything together!" I squeal.

Ms. Webb looks at me and puts a finger to her lips. I sigh and look back at my spelling words. I had pretty much gotten them down, so I asked Tessa to quiz me.

I got 9 out of the ten words right, so after I quizzed Alexa and Alexa quizzed Tessa, we went to play in the dollhouse.
