"Daddy, can we go swimming?"

"Princess, it's almost 9 pm."

"Yes, let's go! I love hotels where the pool is open 24/7." I say.

"Guess we're going. Go get ready, again." Justin shrugs.

"I like swimming at night." I tell Justin, laying Bella on the bed.

I was holding her because she was asleep but it looked like she was waking up very soon.

"But you don't swim. You just sit on the edge of the pool." Justin tells me.

"That's what I call swimming. Don't judge me."

"I'm not judging you." Justin changes into his shorts while I sit on the bed.

I stand up to change into my swim suit, making sure Justin isn't eye raping me because he does that all the time.

"I'm ready to go!" Aviella runs into our room and spins in a circle.

"Well let's go." Justin walks over to the door and opens it, double checking for the room key in his pocket.

I pick Bella up, she was awake now, and follow them out of the room. We walk to the elevator, which takes us to the first floor, then walk down the hall to the door that leads to the pool.

We haven't been yet because after Justin got back with pizza, we we're still suffering from jet lag so we just stayed in the room. Tomorrow we we're taking a trip to the black sand beach and some surprise place. That was how Justin put it.

There's no one here, I mean, why would there be? Aviella immediately jumps into the pool, the shallow end, of course, and Justin's quick to follow her, in the deeper end. It goes all the way to seven feet, which is the deepest I've ever seen a hotel pool. Obviously, I haven't been to a lot of hotels.

I take Bella's onesie off and lay it on a chair before sitting on the steps of the pool with her in my lap.

"This is your first time in a pool, moonlight. How does it feel?"

Bella smiles and I lean down to kiss her head.

"You like it? You're gonna be a water girl, like your big sister."

"A water girl is a girl who brings water to people on a sports team." Justin says.

I look up at him and he shrugs.

"It's true. That's what it, or she, is."

"My baby is not a water girl."

"That's literally what you just called her."

"Shouldn't you be watching Aviella?"

"I am watching her. She's fine. Aren't you princess?"

Aviella nods before ducking under the water. She was literally a six, almost seven, year old fish.

"Whose birthday is in three months?" I ask.

"Mine! I'm going to be seven!" Aviella yells.

"You are. What do you want to do?"

"I want to go to Hawaii!"

"Princess, we're already in Hawaii." Justin tells her, lifting her out of the water.

"Oh yeah! That's right! I want to go to Alexa's house. And daddy, put me down."

"You asked for it." Justin says.

Aviella screams as Justin drops her in the water.

"You're mean." I say.

"She asked me to put her down."

When Aviella comes back above the water, we continue our conversation.

"Babe, you go to Alexa's house every day." I say.

"No, I don't."

"Alright, every other day. But what do you wanna do for your birthday? Besides Hawaii and Alexa's house."

"I want to go jumping."

"Jumping?"

"I think she means on a trampoline. Like at SkyZone."

"Oh! I understand completely. We can do that."

"Then I want to have a sleepover with Alexa and Tessa."

"We can also do that."

"And the next day, I want to go to the mall with Alexa and Tessa."

"That's a little more difficult, but I believe we can do that too." I nod.

"Then I wanna do that! Birthday planned by Aviella Monet Bieber." Aviella smiles.

"You can be a party planner for six year olds. Make some money, and stop spending all of mine." Justin says.

"She doesn't need to make money, J. She's six years old."

"Seven." Aviella says.

"You're still six. You have three months." I look at her and she frowns.

They go back to playing in the water and I resume playing with Bella.

11:53 pm

"I have two questions for you, little girl. Why are you so awake right now and why are you making that face?" I ask Bella.

"Didn't you give her her nickname because of how awake she is in the middle of the night?" Justin asks.

"Yes, I did. But that's no excuse."

"Actually, I think it is."

"Shut up." I laugh.

I pick Bella up and lay her on my chest.

"It's time to sleep so mommy can sleep, okay, moonlight?"

I try, unsuccessfully for twenty minutes, to put Bella to sleep, and when she's still awake after that time, I just give up. Justin was drifting in and out of sleep during that time frame, teasing me, so I finally decided to let Bella spend some time by herself, in between her parents, who would be asleep.

I lay her down between us and it definitely doesn't take me twenty minutes to fall asleep.
