Friday, 3:23 am

Once Bella is finally asleep, I place her in her swing because that's the only time she'll let me put her down. Then I turn to look at Justin.

"Come here." He says, pulling me into his arms.

"You can't tell me to come here then force me to come to you."

"Oh well. I just did."

"Yes, I know. You do it all the time."

"Well, I miss you. Give me a kiss."

"Let me guess. You tell me to give you a kiss, but you're gonna kiss me anyway."

"You are exactly right." Justin plants a kiss on my lips and I smile.

"I love you." He whispers.

"I love you more."

"I doubt that."

"You shouldn't." He kisses me again, making my smile bigger.

"There's only a couple hours left until we get to spend two months together."

"And somebody has a concert to go to." I add.

"Who is that?"

"I have no idea. But I know I have to pee."

"You'll be alright."

"No I won't. Can you let me go."

"I can only let you go if you say you are satisfied with my service."

"Is this Big Hero 6 or something?"

"Maybe."

"I'm satisfied with your service."

"Good. You can go now."

8:01 am

"Say bye to daddy and Aviella, Bella." Of course, she says nothing.

I smile as Justin and Aviella get in the car and drive away.

"Guess it's just us again. But it won't be for long, I promise." I close and lock the door before walking into the living room.

"I'm hungry." I tell Bella.

"Are you gonna let me put you down?" I ask her.

I walk into the kitchen and sigh.

"I'll just hold you and make some oatmeal. You know? You looked like you were covered in oatmeal when you came out of me. It was really weird."

"This is funny. I'm just talking to a baby, like she's gonna answer. But I'm gonna keep doing it, because you're my princess, and you'll talk one day."

I make my oatmeal and take it in the living room to eat it.

"I'm gonna see if Auntie Lexi can come over, because, believe it or not, talking to you is not as much fun as it sounds. I'm lonely." I tell Bella.

8:23 am

"Hey, Lex. What's up?"

"Nothing. How's the family?"

"Great. That's kind of why I'm calling. I'm lonely."

"I'll be right over!" Alexa wastes no time getting to the house.

"Bestie!" She yells, hugging me, since I left Bella on the couch.

"Why is my niece crying?" Alexa asks as I close the door.

"Because I left her alone." We walk into the living room and Alexa picks Bella up.

"My poor baby. She left you all alone."

"I left her here for two seconds. She just hates being put down."

"Aw, you spoiled her already."

"I sure as hell did." I laugh, sitting down next to them.

Bella stops crying and just looks up at Alexa, wondering who is holding her and why it isn't mommy.

"You're so precious." Alexa smiles, leaning down to kiss Bella's head.

"How have you been these past few days?"

"I've been amazing. And I'm ready for the party next week. But what I'm not ready for is her one week appointment."

"Wow. Does she have to get any shots?"

"Oh God, no. That's not until two months."

"Then what are you so worried about?"

"Put her down." I say.

"Why?"

"Just put the child down." Alexa does what I say, and Bella doesn't even wait to be on the couch to start crying.

"She knows when you're gonna put her down. She's evil." I say as Alexa picks her back up.

"What about when she's asleep?"

"You can put her down when she's asleep, but if you're not holding her when she wakes up then she will kill your ears."

"I feel bad for you. But it's your own fault."

"I can't not hold her. She's so cute."

"That's what they all say." Alexa shrugs, putting her attention back on Bella.

"Now that there's not a baby in my arms, I can do whatever I want." I stand up and run around the living room while Alexa just laughs.

"I don't see what's funny. I'm finally free!"

I almost trip over a pillow that Alexa throws at me then sit back down on the couch because I'm tired.

"See? Now you've exhausted yourself."

"Why exactly did you throw a pillow at me?"

"Because I wanted to. Now turn on the TV so I can watch Grey's Anatomy."

"Whatever you say, queen Alexa."

"Speaking of queens, I have a present for you."

"Yes, I know I'm a queen. What is it?"

"You'll see when Justin comes back. There's actually one for all four of you. They're for your first family photoshoot, which of course, I'll be doing because I'm also a certified photographer."

"I wanna know now!"

"You'll know when your husband returns with your oldest daughter."
