"You're not allowed to put that on her right now." Justin says.
"Any why not?"
"Because we're just going to the pool. She has to wear it when we go to the beach. Duh!"
"You are absolutely correct. I'm surprised you even said anything."
"I'm sure you are. But I'm ready to go swimming."
"I'm sure you are. Aviella!" I yell.
She comes running out of her room with a towel and Tommy.
"Babe, you can't bring Tommy to the pool. He'll drown." I say.
"No he won't. Ms. Webb said bears are really good swimmers. And haven't you seen The Jungle Book? Baloo was the bestest swimming in the whole movie!"
"You are right, baby. But Tommy will be destroyed because he's not a real bear. He's not a good swimmer, at all."
"Oh. I'll just put him to bed early, then." Aviella tucks Tommy into our bed before turning around with a smile on her face.
"I'm ready to go!"
"Finally! I've been waiting forever." Justin groans.
"Boy, you were the one we were waiting on, Mr. Wake me up in ten minutes." I say.
Justin laughs, opening the door so we can walk out of the room. We walk down the hall and get into an open elevator.
"To the floor that contains the pool we go." Justin presses the button with a one on it and the elevator quickly takes us there.
Aviella runs down to the door but she can't get in because she doesn't have a room key. She has to wait for Justin because he's walking the slowest out of all of us, even though him and Aviella were most excited to go swimming.
When Justin finally gets to the door, of course he has to make a big deal of pulling the key out of his pocket. I don't know why he didn't already have it out, but he's Justin, and that's what Justin does.
We walk through the room with the indoor pool before getting to the outdoor pool. Aviella immediately throws her towel on a chair and jumps in the 4 1/2 feet. I'm telling you, that girl is a fish. But she is four feet tall, so it's not that deep for her.
Justin jumps into the seven feet and stays under water for almost a minute. I start to think that he might be having some trouble but he comes back up and shakes the water out of his hair. How extra can he be?
I get in the pool and walk to three feet where the water comes up to about my waist. That means it's touching Bella's toes and I think the ripples might be tickling her feet because she keeps giggling.
"What's so funny, Moonlight? Is the water tickling you, baby girl?"
I remove her from my waist and put her in the water up to her knees. This wipes the smile right off her face and her forehead starts to wrinkle.
"Don't cry, it's just like bath time, which you hate, but don't cry. The water is not gonna kill you, babe. That's what you seem to think, isn't it?"
Bella's forehead stays wrinkly for a good five minutes but I keep her in the water because I want her to get uses to it. Eventually she does and just forgets about the water. I think it's just the shock of being wet that scares her because when she gets used to it, everything is perfectly fine.
6:27 pm
"We've been in this pool for an hour and now im a wrinkly!" Aviella says.
"Just like Bella's forehead."
"I command both of you to stop saying wrinkly. It sounds weird." Justin says.
He disappears under the water and when he comes back up, he lifts Aviella out of the water by her feet. She screams and he laughs evilly, making his way to the deepest part of the pool, which is eight feet. I know he's not gonna put her in any type of danger so I don't worry about saying anything.
My baby would never put either of my babies in any type of danger because if he did, he would be in danger. And I assure you that he would be terrified.
Justin drops Aviella in the water and picks her up again.
"Daddy! Do it again! Do it again!" She yells.
Justin laughs, repeating this at least four more times before they both get tired of it.
It's about time for Bella to eat and I'm not feeding her down here, so I stay for a couple more minutes before taking Bella upstairs.
