"This is so annoying! Why can't somebody stay in the lead the whole game?" Justin yells.
"Have you ever even watched basketball? That never happens." I tell him, patting his shoulder sarcastically.
"Yes it does. Just not today, I guess. It's so stressful!" Justin runs a hand through his hair, sighing.
"Maybe I should bring you to stressful basketball games more often. I'm enjoying this." Justin rolls his eyes and I laugh.
The Nuggets were winning 85-78 and there was a minute and 38 seconds left until halftime.
I was entertaining myself with Riley, who was sitting next to me, playing with my Snapchat and Ryan, who was sitting in my lap.
Ryan was little the cutest little boy ever and I would take him home if I could, and if I didn't have a 3 month old at home.
"Riley, do you help take care of your baby brother at home?"
"Yep! I give him baths and I feed him and I change his diaper. Mommy and daddy don't do anything."
"Are you sure? It's very hard to take care of a baby by yourself."
"I'm sure. Right, mommy?" Riley looks at her mom, who just laughs and shakes her head.
"You didn't even wanna wake up this morning, while we were all awake. You didn't help feed Ry his breakfast or lunch. Oh, and you also yelled at him to be quiet when he was crying because you took his toy away. And, Ariana, let me add, that was all today's events." Ayesha tells me.
"Mhmm, sounds like you're a little evil monster, Riley." I bounce Ryan on my leg, making him giggle.
"No, I'm not!" Riley crosses her arms and sits back in her seat, pouting.
"She does this all the time. We call it "the Rout". The Riley pout. It's a very original name, if you can't already tell."
"I love it." We both laugh and I look over at Justin.
He's completely focused on the game, with his jaw clenched and his hands in his pockets, even though he's sitting down. I really like the part where he's clenching his jaw. It's not something he does often so I have to appreciate when he does.
"Baby, can you do that tonight?" I whisper.
"Do what?"
"This." I run my finger along his jawline and he chuckles.
"I shall do anything my Queen wants." He turns back to the game, where there was 23 seconds left until halftime.
Riley is still doing "the Rout", and Ryan is focused on fitting his entire fist into his mouth.
"Ariana, I'm gonna go to the restroom real quick. Is that alright?"
"Perfectly fine. I'll watch them."
"Mommy, I have to potty!" Riley immediately uncrosses her arms and jumps out of her seat.
"Come on." Ayesha laughs, taking Riley's hand as they walk towards the bathroom.
Ryan stays happy in my lap until halftime when the buzzer goes off, and that upsets him. He gets happier when a cheerleader comes and shakes her pom-poms in his face, laughing hysterically until she has to leave to perform.
We watch their performance, then they play some games, then Justin's favorite part, besides the game itself, Kiss Cam.
"They better put that damn camera on me and my Queen so I can kiss her and show everybody that she's mine." Justin says.
I already knew he paid for them to put the camera on us so it was gonna happen sooner or later.
