Justin

Monday, 2:23 pm

"Mommy doesn't feel well, so try to be quiet, okay?" I tell Aviella.

She nods, reaching her hand out to open the door. I put the key in and she twists the knob, pushing the door open.

She disappears into the living room before I can even close the door. I put the key on the hook and follow her.

"Hey." Ariana says.

"Hi mama. What's wrong?" Aviella replies.

"My stomach hurts, baby girl."

"Like mine did some days ago?"

"No, Avi." She laughs.

"Oh. I'm going with my toys." Aviella leaves the room and I hear her footsteps on the stairs.

"Come back, Justin. My head misses your lap." Ariana says when she's gone.

"But you're all the way over there." I whine.

"Justin, please?" She says.

"Okay, okay." I walk to the couch and she sits up so I can sit down then lays her head on my lap.

I stroke her hair, which I know makes her tired, but she doesn't fall asleep.

"I am not going to sleep, no matter how hard you try." She says.

"I wasn't trying." I laugh.

"Sure you weren't." She picks up her phone, scrolling through Twitter.

"What is your obsession with your phone?" I ask.

"How many times are you gonna ask me that question? You always get the same answer."

"But I don't understand."

"Okay, Justin. Listen. My phone is my best friend. Besides food and my actual best friends and you."

"That's sad." She rolls her eyes, putting her phone down.

"It's hot in here." She says.

"Is it really? Or is that just an excuse to take your shirt off?"

"A little bit of both." She laughs, pulling her shirt over her head.

"That's perfectly fine with me." I shrug.

"I see you're supporting my cause." I say.

"No I'm not. I'm supporting Calvin Klein. You're a model for men's underwear. This is women's underwear. There's a difference."

"It's not. I'm still a Calvin Klein model."

"Whatever."

"You're so difficult."

"But you love me."

"I do."

"Good."

Ariana

"Alright. Ready to go?" I ask Aviella.

She nods, pulling on her white converse. She was wearing a denim jean dress with a skinny brown belt.

"Okay. Come on." Aviella grabs Tommy and follows me down the stairs.

"Don't you two look cute?" Justin asks, standing up from the couch.

I was just wearing a yellow dress and my brown gladiator sandals, and some red lipstick cause I was bored.

"Just don't kiss me." Justin tells me, kissing my cheek.
