Ariana

Wednesday, 12:00 am

"We're going to New York, Moonlight." I say, spinning around in the living room.

Bella just yawns from the couch. She was tired, but she's Bella. Why would she go to sleep? That's why her nickname is Moonlight.

"Ariana, I got all the bags in the car. What's next?" Justin walks in and shakes his head at my happy dance.

"The children. I'll get Bella."

"I guess that means I get the grumpy one."

"It sure does. Don't wake her up." I laugh, picking Bella up.

I lay her in her car seat and buckle her in.

"Are you ready to go, Bella?"

For once at night, she smiles.

"I'll take that as a yes." I pick up the car seat and Justin walks in with Aviella passed out on his shoulder.

"Good job." I give him a high five and he laughs.

"You have way too much energy." He says.

We both walk outside and put the girls in the back seat.

"Is that everything?" Justin asks.

"I think so. Let me check."

I walk inside the house, making sure I have everything important and everything that I'll need. Justin follows me through the house, triple checking everything before we finally leave.

12:39 am

Justin parks at the airport, and now we have the best job ever. Getting everything out and where it needs to be.

Justin gets all of the bags out while I take Bella out.

Aviella wakes up and says that she wants to walk by herself, which surprises both of us, but we go with it.  She pulls her own suitcase and wears Bella's bag on her back.

Justin pulls both of our bags and I hold Bella's car seat, which also contains Bella.

We walk into the airport and immediately go to check our bags in so they can be out of the way. This also means someone has to hold Bella at all times because we had to check her car seat in too.

Security is the hardest part because Aviella is asleep so Justin has to hold her while he goes through security and I have to hold Bella while I go through, but that was to be expected. She's not gonna walk through herself.

1:48 am

"Now we have an hour and fifteen minutes before we fly away." Justin says.

"Yeah. I don't know if I can do it. I might just pass out."

"You do like tired."

"That's one of the things you're not supposed to say."

"Oh. Is it?"

"Yeah." I nod and Justin laughs.

"I don't understand how she just stays asleep no matter what. It's not humanely possible."

"Obviously, it is."

"Okay, smart ass."

"Watch your mouth."

"You watch your mouth, little girl."

"I'm not a little girl, thank you very much."

"You act like one."

"No I do not."

"Yes you do."

"No I don't."

"Yes you do."

"No I don't."

"Ariana, are we really sitting here arguing about whether you're a little girl or not?"

"Yep. We have nothing better to do."
