"Somebody has to get shots today." Justin says.

"I feel so bad for her. She's gonna have to deal with her dad's comfort." I tell him.

"What do you mean by that?"

"I mean I'm not gonna be standing there watching somebody poke my daughter with a needle. I can't even watch myself get poked with a needle."

"I understand. My ladybug has to deal with her dad to calm her down."

"Mommy, I figured out a way to stop Bella from getting her shots." Aviella walks in

"And how exactly is that?"

"We can pretend she's sick."

"Baby, if she's sick, then she'll have to go to the doctor anyway, and they'll still give her the shots."

Aviella groans and walks out.

"You forgot the bow." Justin says.

"Like you care." I put Bella's bow on, even though it'll probably end up around her neck soon enough.

"Ladybug, mommy will always make you look amazing

"Ladybug, mommy will always make you look amazing." Justin says.

"Of course she will." I smile, picking Bella up off the bed.

She had her fist in her mouth, which she did a lot, because her father always took her pacifier away from her.

I lay Bella in her car seat and buckle her up.

"I'm gonna go make sure Aviella is ready." Justin leaves and I make sure Bella's diaper bag has everything she needs.

"Bella, guess what today is."

She smiles, and I laugh. Her smile is so adorable, especially because she doesn't have any teeth.

"Actually, there's a lot going on today. You have your doctors appointment, then mommy and daddy have a huge concert to go to. I'm gonna meet your other dad."

"Zayn has nothing to do with Bella. Don't ever say that again." Justin says from the doorway.

"Somebody's upset." I laugh as he comes in to take Bella's car seat downstairs.

I grab her diaper bag and walk downstairs.

"Come on, Aviella." She was sitting in the living room watching Sofia the First.

"I don't wanna see Bella get shots!" She whines.

"Babe, come on. We're gonna be late. You can close your eyes." Aviella turns the TV off and runs out the door.

I follow her, making sure the door is closed and locked before I go get in the car.

11:59 am

"Just in time." Justin turns off the car and we all hurry to get out of the car.

We definitely had a late start this morning, and laying around for two hours didn't help matters much.

I open the door for Aviella and she gets out.

"Can I hold the diaper bag?" She asks.

"Of course you can." I smile, handing the bag to her as we walk inside.

"Hello, how can I help you today?"

"We have an appointment for Bella Bieber."

"Oh, yes. Right on time. You can just come on back. We're not busy today."

"Okay. Thank you." A nurse opens the door for us and we follow her into an exam room.

"Take the clothes off, leave the diaper on." I follow the nurses instructions, laying Bella on the exam table.

"You can just give her this. It's for one of her vaccinations. It's just like sugar water."

I nod, feeding Bella the water.

"I think she loves it." Justin says.

"Really?" The nurse asks.

"That's not common. Babies don't normally like that stuff."

"Well, look at you Bella." I smile, tickling her bare stomach when she finishes the medicine.

She smiles and I kiss her head.

"Now, we're gonna weigh her and measure her height and head size."

I lay Bella on the scale, and although she's moving around a lot, the nurse manages to weigh her, measure her height, and measure her head size.

"10.9. Average weight is 11 pounds even. She's perfect."

"Good." I smile.

After all the other normal stuff, it's time for Bella's shots.

"Good luck, Belle." Aviella says, hiding her face in her hands.

"Okay, Bella. Pay attention to mom and dad." The nurse says.

I stick my finger in Bella's mouth for her to suck on.

"First, I'm just gonna take some blood from her toe. This one isn't that bad."

I turn my head so I can still see Bella's face but, so I can't see anything going on with any type of needles.

All I hear is the nurse saying all done.

"Good job, ladybug. Daddy's so proud of you." Justin says.

"Just two more. These are a bit more painful."

"Oh, a bit. I'm sure." Aviella mumbles.

I turn to look at her and she shrugs, covering her face again. The child's attitude was getting worse, but I couldn't blame her. She lived with me.

The next shot was given before I was even paying attention, so I thought Bella was just crying for no reason.

"Awe, baby." Justin strokes her head and I smile.

My finger was still in her mouth, and if it had ears, it would not be happy.

The nurse quickly gives Bella the last shot and Justin picks her up.

"It's okay, princess. You'll be okay." Justin whispers, rubbing her back.

Aviella stands up and wraps her arms around me.

"Is Bella okay, mommy?"

"She's fine. She's just a little shocked."
