Ariana
Wednesday, 12:57 pm
"Justin.." I sigh, following him out of the police department.
"What, Ariana?" He turns around, and I can see in his face that he's trying very hard not to punch something and/or scream.
I look at the ground for all of two seconds, and when I look back up, Justin has tears in his eyes. I don't know if they're angry tears or not, but that doesn't matter. My baby's crying.
"Baby.." I wrap my arms around him, and he tries so hard not to cry, it kills me.
"Let's go home." I whisper.
He nods and I wipe the tears from his face.
"Don't cry, please."
I follow him to the car, and since I know he won't let me drive, I don't even try.
The ride home is silent, and I can tell Justin is still very upset.
1:36 pm
"Justin, do you wanna talk about something?" I ask, sitting next to him on the couch.
"No, I don't. I want you to sit on my lap until we go Pick Aviella up."
"I can do that."
"I was hoping you could."
I sit on his lap, laying my head on his shoulder.
He plays with my hair for almost 10 minutes without saying anything, then he's still.
I look up and see him asleep. I kiss his cheek and take out my phone, stalking my second husband, otherwise known as Zayn, on Instagram.
2:11 pm
"Justin, baby, wake up."
I kiss his head and he sighs.
"Come on, J. We gotta go pick up Aviella."
"Fuck, I forgot about that."
"I know you did. I think you were ready to be sleep until tomorrow." He smiles, pulling me closer to him.
"Can we go to my parents house after we pick her up? I'd like to have a conservation with my dad."
"Yeah, whatever you want."
"Okay. Let's go."
I stand up and pick up my phone.
"You were stalking him again, weren't you?" Justin pulls in his shoes and I blush.
"Maybe I was. That's none of your business."
"I'm sure it's not. Not until Christmas at least. Maybe sooner."
"Why?"
"No reason. Just saying."
I look at him with an eyebrow raised and he laughs.
"Come on, babe. Let's go." He grabs my hand and we walk outside.
"We're taking your car. You need gas."
"Fine by me. Just don't crash it."
"I would never."
"That means nothing to me."
"Why?"
"No reason. Just saying."
"You seriously need to stop using my words against me."
"You seriously need to stop saying them."
2:24 pm
"Look what me and Alexa made you!" Aviella says.
"Aww, that's adorable. Thank you girls, so much."
"You're welcome. My mommy's right there. I have to go." Alexa says.
"Tell her I said hi." I get out of the car to buckle Aviella into her seat, since my car doesn't have a car seat.
Once I'm back in the passenger seat, I ask Aviella how her day was.
"It was good. We spent most of the day drawing your picture and we had recess and lunch. I got some spelling homework, too."
"Ah, homework. I remember those days." Justin says.
"It's not really homework. We have a spelling test next week and were supposed to study the words."
"Spelling. Don't ask mommy for help. She's not very good at it." I roll my eyes at Justin and he laughs.
"That's not very nice." Aviella says.
"Where are we going?" She asks.
"To my parents house." Justin answers.
"Yay! Are Jazzy and Jax gonna be there?"
"Most likely. They probably just got home from school."
"Can Jazmyn help me with my homework?"
"You'll have to ask her. I'm sure she would love to."
Aviella doenst say anything else for the rest of the ride, which I'm surprised about because she usually don't stop talking.
2:56 pm
"Jazmyn, take Aviella to your room. I'm gonna talk to dad." Justin says.
Jaxon was at baseball practice with his friends and Justin's parents were both in his dads office.
Justin told me to come with him because he would probably get out of control and I was the only one who could 'calm him down'.
I sat down across from his dad and Pattie sat next to me. Justin stood behind me, and I could tell he was already getting mad.
"Dad, is there anything you've been hiding from me?"
"No. Why would you ask that?"
"You're lying."
"Son, I'm telling you the truth. I have nothing to lie about."
"Oh really?
"Where is this coming from?"
"Oh, it's just something about the name Josh that makes me want to ask you about this." Jeremy freezes and Pattie looks from him to Justin then back to him.
He obviously knew Josh was his name, even if he did leave before he was born.
"What the hell is he talking about?" Pattie asks.
