"What kind of baby wakes up just to spit up all over their clothes, and then goes back to sleep?" Justin asks.
"My baby. And I don't even care, because now she gets to wear something different." I reply.

"You are crazy. Shouldn't we be leaving now, anyway?"
"We should've been leaving ten minutes, ago, but, unfortunately, there was an incident."
"Understood. Let's go now."
"You are too excited for her to get her ears pierced."
"No I'm not. I'm excited to get it over with. She's gonna cry, and I don't want that."
"Awe, you'll be okay." I pat his shoulder and he takes Bella from me to put her in her car seat.
"Is it time to go yet?" Aviella walks in our room and I nod.
"It is."
"Yay!" Aviella runs out once again and I laugh.
"Come on, moonlight. Time to get your ears pierced."
Justin carries the car seat outside and I get in before he puts Bella in.
Aviella is already in her car seat and she's working on buckling herself up, which takes her ten years because she always rushes when she's doing it.
"Babe, you have to slow down."
"I know, mama! I know."
"Okay! Chill."
Justin backs out of the driveway and starts driving down the street.
"Mommy, you still haven't told me where we're going." Aviella says.
"I know. And I'm not going to tell you."
"You're mean."
"No I'm not. It was daddy's idea for me not to tell you. Blame him."
"It wasn't my princess, Avi. Don't listen to mommy. She's a liar."
"Liar is a strong word, daddy."
"Yeah, daddy." I say.
Justin looks at me in the rearview mirror and I smirk.
"Mommy, why'd you say it like that?" Aviella asks.
"What are you talking about?"
"You said daddy weird."
"I did nothing of the sort." I shake my head and Justin chuckles.
"Mommy's just a weirdo." Justin tells her.
"No I'm not."
"Yes you are."
"No I'm not."
"Yes you are."
"Stop it! You're waking Bella up." Aviella says, reaching over me to pat Bella's head.
"You patting her head is just going to wake her up."
"No it's not, mommy. I pat her head all the time while she's sleeping. She always smiles. See?"
I look at Bella in her car seat, and although she's still asleep, there is a smile on her face.
"What do you mean when she's sleeping?"
"Sometimes I come in your room at night to make sure she's okay. And sometimes while she's taking a nap and you guys are in the living room."
"Creepy much?" Justin says.
"I'm not creepy. That's mean, daddy." Aviella crosses her arms and starts pouting.
"Daddy, you made her upset." I say, patting Aviella's knee.
"I'm sorry, princess. I was just kidding."
"No, you're a meanie. I'm gonna run away from you whenever we get to where we're going."
"Okay. Have fun."
"I'm sewious."
"It's serious, baby. And we understand that you're 'sewious'." I say.
Aviella just tightens her crossed arms and tries to lower her head even more.
"Aviella, calm down. You know daddy was playing with you."
"No. I'm still running away."
"Okay. We'll miss you."
Justin pulls into the parking lot of the mall and I see a small smile form on Aviella's face. As soon as he finds a parking spot, Aviella starts to unbuckle herself from her car seat.
Justin takes Bella's car seat out and connects it to her stroller which was in the trunk.
"Bye!" Aviella says.
Me and Justin both wave and start walking towards the door, while Aviella walks away from it.
"How long are we gonna wait?" Justin asks me.
"She'll come back in a few seconds." Justin chuckles and opens the door for me.
"Mommy, daddy!" I turn around and see Aviella running towards us, tears streaming down her face.
"Told you." I mumble.
Justin picks Aviella up and she lays her head on his shoulder.
"You were.. supposed t-to tell me I c-can't... run away." Aviella struggles to complete her sentence, and I fight the urge to laugh.
I know she's my baby girl, but sometimes she can be hilarious.
"Why would we tell you that you can't do something that you wanted to do?"
"B-because you're my parents... and y-you love me!"
"That's true, but you wanted to run away. We didn't wanna be mean and tell you that you couldn't." Justin says.
"I'm sorry for c-calling you mean.. and you h-have to be sorry for not t-telling me I couldn't run away."
"Um, nope. We're not sorry about that."
"W-why?"
"Because you're not gonna run away anyway. We don't have to tell you that you can't."
This conversation is funny as hell, and I'm not even apart of it. Well, I'm kind of a part of it, but Justin and Aviella are doing most of the talking. I'm just watching Bella wake up, which is the cutest thing ever.
She yawns about a million times, and she stretches her tiny little arms and legs. Then she falls asleep for about ten more seconds before doing the same thing as before, except she actually wakes up. This is only when she's not waking up because she's hungry or needs her diaper changed. That's a whole different story.
"Mommy, can Aviella get some ice cream?" Justin asks me.
"Has she learned not to try and run away?"
"I think so." Justin nods and Aviella shows me her puppy dog eyes.
