"Aviella, did you take a nap today?" I ask.

"No! I wanted to play with Jazzy and Jax." Aviella whines.

She had been cranky ever since we left Pattie and Jeremy's house. I would've put her to sleep a long time ago but we went to Target and now we were at the mall.

Justin had a meeting with some important people in a couple days and he wanted, definitely not needed, a new suit.

He was currently trying on the one he really wanted, but the only problem was they only had one left.

"Baby, does it fit?" I ask.

"I think so. It's good enough for one day." Justin replies.

"Good, so we can go now? Your daughter is starting to get on my nerves." I mumble the last part, looking down at Aviella who was pouting with her arms crossed.

She was mad that we couldn't go into her favorite store, Justice, but we didn't have time. We really needed to get home, mainly because she was tired and hungry.

"Mommy, can I have your phone?" Aviella asks.

"My phone is dead, babe."

"But, mommy!"

"Aviella, I can not control that. I'm sorry but you're gonna have to wait."

"Alright, I'm ready. Let's go!" Justin comes out of the dressing room and before anyone can say or do anything, he picks Aviella up and walks to the cash register.

"Finally, mommy can breathe." I tell Bella, although she doesn't understand a word.

I adjust Bella on my hip before following Justin to check out. I'm convinced that if she didn't have a pacifier in her mouth, she would be crying because it was almost time for her to eat.

"Aviella, why are you giving your mother a hard time?" Justin asks as we leave the store.

"I'm not!" Aviella whines.

"She needs to go to bed. She's beyond tired." I tell him.

"Is that true?" Justin asks.

"No! Put me down, I wanna walk by myself."

"I'm not convinced you would be a very good listener if I put you down." Justin tells her.

"Put me down, daddy." Justin sighs and places Aviella on the ground.

She crosses her arms once again and walks ahead of us, only by a couple feet because neither of her parents will let her go any further.

We leave the mall and walk to the car. I put Bella in her car seat while Justin attempts to put Aviella in hers. She refuses his help, saying she can do it by herself, so he just closes the door and gets in the front seat.

After I'm buckled into my seat, I turn around to make sure Aviella strapped herself in right. She did. It's almost time for that little girl to be out of car seats, and I can't believe it. She's grown up so fast.

I spend the whole ride home with my eyes closed since I'm running on five hours of sleep and being tortured by a whiney six year old.

When we do get home, Aviella unbuckles her car seat and lets herself out of the car, running up to the door immediately.

I take Bella's car seat out of the car and follow her and Justin is behind me with his suit and the keys.

He opens the door and Aviella runs inside, disappearing upstairs, probably to hide in her closet or something that I couldn't care less about. She was just having one of those days.

At that moment, Bella's pacifier falls out of her mouth and she starts to cry.

"Okay, baby. Mommy knows you're hungry. I have to warm up a bottle first because daddy forced me to drink adult things last night." I say, looking at Justin.

"Umm, excuse me. I did nothing of the sort. It was your mother, Bella, who brought that into the game. But I will admit that it made the post-game activities really fun." Justin smirks and I playfully roll my eyes.

I warm one of Bella's bottles up while she cries in my arms.

"Okay, okay, babe. The bottle is ready. Here." I put the bottle in her mouth and she immediately starts to drink the milk.

"See? Mommy knows how to take care of her babies."

"Baby. The other one is not doing very well." Justin says.

"Yes, Justin, I'm aware. Thanks for your two-sense."

"Of course. Anything for my wife."
