Ariana

Tuesday, 5:46 pm

All the tables at the luau were almost full and we still had at least fifteen minutes before it started.

They were playing a song from Moana and literally all the kids were dancing, including Aviella. She was having so much fun, it's adorable.

"Baby, Aviella wants you to take a picture." Justin says.

"Of course she does, but I will." I pick my phone up off the table and take a million pictures of Aviella and a few videos.

I also take some of Bella and some of my beautiful husband. When I put my phone away, another Moana song starts and waiters start coming around to take peoples orders.

Once they take ours, Aviella is tired of dancing so she goes to sit in Justin's lap, like there's not two other chairs at this table. She also drinks some of his water, because her water is 'too far'.

"Just like daddy. I don't even care that you drank my water if that's the reason for doing it." Justin says.

"You're such a-"

"Such a what?" Justin raises an eyebrow.

"I'm tired of you interrupting me. Maybe if you let me finish, you would know what I said."

"You could take your own advice." Justin says, patting my leg.

I laugh, rocking Bella's car seat. She was getting upset because no one was holding her. Aviella eventually gets tired of being tired and she gets up to dance again.

6:37 pm

"Look, mommy! Food." Aviella says.

The waiters start bringing food to the tables and Aviella cannot wipe the smile from her face. I don't know what her issue is with food, but I have the same one, so I can't complain.

As soon as our food arrives, Bella starts to cry.

"The perfect time for me to pick you up, isn't it?" I say.

Justin laughs, already stuffing his face.  I think we all suffer from the same problem.

I lean down and unbuckle Bella from her car seat before actually taking her out. Once she's confortable with her blanket, I start eating my own food.

"This is delicious. I love it so much. I'm gonna drown myself in food. That's definitely how I'm gonna die." Justin says.

I laugh, stroking Bella's hair while I stuff my face. I have chicken, Mac and cheese, and a salad. Gotta have those vegetables. The green ones, especially, because they're good for you.

Aviella had the same as me, but with green beans instead of a salad. I don't know why she hated salads so much because when I was a kid, salads were my favorite green thing to eat. I would think all kids would like salads better, but I guess not.

"Aviella, you have to eat all your green beans before you can get dessert." Justin says.

"I will, daddy! They're my favorite." She smiles.

"You have a favorite vegetable? Why didn't I know about this?"

"I don't know. I think that's a question you should be asking yourself." Aviella shrugs, continuing to eat her food.

"You are a smart little girl." Justin says.

"And I don't mean the 'I know stuff' smart." He adds.

I laugh, looking up to the stage as a woman walks up there with other women and a few men. She starts talking about what's going to happen tonight then they dance for a million years, but it's still entertaining. Some more than others. And by some, I mean some men. Especially since they don't have shirts on.

"Ariana, you look a little distracted." Justin says.

"No, I'm not. Don't worry about it." I laugh, shaking my head.

"Mhmm. Keep your eyes..." Justin lifts his shirt up.

"On the prize." He smirks, pulling me in for a kiss.

"I will admit. That is a prize."

"Yeah, more like eight prizes."

"Woah, woah. Slow it down. I'll let you slide with seven. But eight? I don't think so." I shake my head and Justin chuckles, looking to the stage.

The woman says something about all the kids going on the stage to learn a dance and Aviella looks at me with the most adorable puppy dog face. I would've let her gone without it, but that just makes saying yes a whole lot better.

"Go have fun, princess." I smile.

Aviella squeals, running up onto the stage. They teach all the kids the dance step by step, then they do it all together. My baby is by far the best one up there, but I'm not surprised. She's a fast learner, and gymnastics really helps her coordination and flexibility.

Once their done on stage, Aviella brings another little girl with her back to our table.

"Mommy, daddy, this is Paisley. She's my new friend."

"Hi Paisley. I'm Aviella's mommy. Where are your parents?" I say.

"Right here." I turn around and see a couple standing behind me.

"Oh, hey." I start standing up but the woman puts her hand on my shoulder.

"No, you don't have to stand up. It's okay."

"It's fine. I need some excercise, if this even counts as excercise." We both laugh as I stand up, adjusting Bella in my arms.

She had fallen asleep before I could feed her so now she was asleep, but that's fine with me, and Justin, and everyone else who's here.

"I'm Maria, and this is Anthony, my husband."

"Ariana. Very nice to meet you. That's Justin. He's a knucklehead."

"I like how you introduced me, Queen." Justin says, wrapping his arm around my waist.

I laugh, planting a kiss on his cheek.

"So, are you guys here for vacation?" Maria asks.

"Yep. We leave Friday." Justin nods.

"Stop talking about leaving." I say.

"Okay, yes, we're on vacation. We live in Denver."

"Nice, we actually live in Utah."

"Mommy, dessert!" Aviella says.

"Calm down, child." I say.

After we talk to them, we order dessert then watch the performers for the rest of the time.
