"And if you look to your Justin, you'll clearly see who my daughter loves more." Justin says.

You're not a tour guide, and she hates you. It's her mommy that she loves." I reply.

"Why do you always have to argue about this? When I was a baby, I loved you both the same." Aviella says.

"You don't even remember when you were a baby." I tell her.

"Yes I do. I remember when I met daddy, and then you came, then we left wherever we were and I lived in Grandma JoJo's house until you bought your own house. You were like tiny babies, because you couldn't take care of me by yourself. You had to go to school so I stayed with Uncle Frankie."

"You remember all that?" I ask.

"Duh! That's what I said. And I remember when we were in that bad place and a man took mommy away and then she came back. And daddy hurt the man so we could leave."

"Aviella, you should just forget that part." Justin says.

"Why?"

"Because it's not good, and we don't want to remember that, okay?"

"Okay, daddy." Aviella starts coloring her kids menu and Justin rests his hand on my thigh.

"You're okay?" He says.

"Justin, I'm fine. That was ten years ago."

"Actually, it was six years ago, but whatever helps you sleep at night."

I roll my eyes playfully and Bella starts to fuss in her dad's arms.

"Now she's realizing that she's starving and if I don't feed her, she's going to scream her head off. I think we've waited long enough." I say.

"Yes, so that means you take her, because daddy can't help."

"Blanket!" I say.

I reach into Bella's diaper bag and retrieve her blanket.

"Right, because nobody gets to see anything under the shirt except for me." Justin says.

"I'm not wearing a shirt." I laugh.

"Bikini top, shirt, same thing."

"You know, this makes it so much easier to feed her. I might just wear this everywhere I go."

"Yes, do that. Please!"

"Shut up, you horny bastard."

"You're so mean to me."

"I am not. I'm just being honest." I cover Bella with her blanket while she sucks away happily on my boob.

"Mommy, does Belle get to pick the flavor of milk she has? Like strawberry or chocolate. If I was a baby, I would pick chocolate." Aviella says.

"No, she doesn't. In fact, the milk she has is very disgusting. I wouldn't try it if I were you." Justin tells her.

"How do you know, daddy?"

"I lost a bet." Justin looks down into his lap and I laugh.

"He sure did. He had to drink an entire half a bottle of Bella's milk."

"How'd you get it into a bottle?"

"Alright, child. That's enough questions for today. We can talk about that later, and by later, I mean weeks later."

"When I turn seven?"

"Maybe." Aviella shrugs, going back to coloring her menu.

"Your daughter is a very curious child." Justin whispers.

"My daughter?"

"Yep." He nods.

"I do believe we adopted her together." I mumble as the waitress, Callie, returns with our food.

"We have chicken strips for the adorable little girl, steak for the big strong man, and shrimp for the mommy who doesn't look like a mommy." Callie gives us our food and I smile.

"Thank you." I say.

"No problem. Enjoy your food, and let me know if you have any problems."

"Okay!" Aviella says.

Callie winks at Aviella before going to take care of her other tables.

"You're giving her $50 for a tip." I tell Justin.

"Yes, ma'am. Not a problem. In fact, I'll do anything you say. You gave me the best anniversary gift ever."

"Actually, I think a vacation to Hawaii is the best, but mine can be a very close second."

"Mommy, what's daddy's 'niversary gift?" Aviella asks.

"Daddy's anniversary gift is a trip to a basketball game that he wanted to go to very badly."

"It's called the horrible Denver Nuggets vs the amazing, awesome sauce Golden State Warriors, and mommy got daddy court side tickets, because she's the best mommy and the best wife ever."

"You are the best mommy." Aviella agrees, nodding her head while she stuffs a chicken strip in her mouth.

"I like this. I really like this."

You finally know what Justin's gift is. Honestly, the only reason you didn't know sooner was because I forgot to write about it so sorry about that lol but now you know what it is so you're welcome 😊
