"Ariana, look on the bright side." Frankie says.
"The bright side of what?"
"Everything. You don't have to get your period for at least a couple months."
"I already haven't got it for 9 months. I honestly couldn't care less about a period."
"You say that until it comes."
"Ariana has nothing to worry about. Her periods are like heaven." Justin says.
"Whoa whoa whoa. You two talk like you get periods. You both need to shut up." I say.
"What do you mean her periods are like heaven? What kind of nonsense is that? When she lived here she acted like she was dying." Frankie asks.
"That's only because she's such a drama queen."
"Well, I'm leaving. Have fun talking about me and my periods."
I stand up and walk into the kitchen, where my mom was sitting at the island showing my sleeping daughter pictures of me as a baby.
"Mom, what's the point? She's asleep."
"So?"
"Never mind." I shake my head and open the fridge.
"I am so hungry! My husband doesn't feed me." I say.
"I tried. You said you couldn't eat because you would just throw it up." Justin walks in the kitchen and I roll my eyes.
"That sounds like something you would say, drama queen." Frankie walks in behind me.
"What is it with you two?" I turn around and they both laugh.
"We feel bad messing with you when you're sick so now that you're not sick, it's perfectly fine."
"I'm still sick. I can't just throw up and not be sick."
"That's true. From the Doctor in the room." Mom says.
I laugh and continue looking for something to eat. Not that there's no food, I'm just picky.
"Justin, come help me." I say.
"Help you do what?"
"Find something to eat. Since you didn't wanna feed me earlier."
"How many times do I have to tell you that's it's not my fault?"
"It is your fault."
"How about oatmeal?"
"Ew, no. I can't eat that right now. I really can't."
"Understandable."
"Can we just go get Starbucks like I originally wanted?"
"Yes, go. Leave your daughter here. Good bye." Mom says.
I turn to look at her and she waves.
"Starbucks it is." Justin says.
"Can I come with you? Please?" Frankie asks in a baby voice.
"Of course you can, Franklin. But you're sitting in the back." I tell him.
"That works."
I kiss Bella's head and my mom's cheek before going to find my shoes.
"Let's go food hunting!" Justin says.
He opens the front door and I walk outside.
"I have always loved this car." Frankie says, trying to hug the car.
