you left me for you but what about me

when a boy breaks your heart it's a stab in the chest
you drown in your own heartbreak only waves of black filling up your bones
you choke on the empty promises and meaningless kisses and tear stained memories
it's devastating
you cry and cry and cry oceans
but you move on
in weeks
months
Years

Slowly your bones begin to heal themselves
you fill the hole  you thought was empty

It's a stab in the chest , the back the lungs
you can't begin to inhale

because it's like everything you've based yourself on isn't true
if your body is your temple the foundations have fallen
The walls are cracking
you can't fake an ache like this
It's starts in the bottom of your chest thumping and twisting against your skin aching to get out
It works it's way up tendrils of darkness spreading pain and suffering across your body
the cracks begin to show and you fall apart
Because you're empty
you're empty
when it's good it's good
and when it rains
It pours
and dear god do you drown
In your own tears
