people are toxic
people will pour their darkness into your soul in the hopes of feeling less alone
people will drain you
of everything good, any spec of light remaining
just to fill themselves with temporary nourishment
people will make you cry
send tears of false guilt and angst and self hatred rushing down your face
People will make you shake
They'll shake your very being until you begin to question who you are and if you really belong here
People will break your heart
Over and over and over again
even when you feel nothing they'll keep stomping , smashing breaking thousands of pieces into smaller ones
People will blame you
Because they're too scared to see the ugly truth that lies beneath their heart
People will walk all over you
Not matter how many times you lay yourself out as a bridge to get them through the hardest points in life
People will destroy you
How long until you realise love and destruction can be one in the same ?
