I feel a depression so deep in my heart it's like a tattoo
Pained wrapped around me like bandages pulling tighter and tighter every breath I breathe
It surrounds me
It drowns me
It envelops me
The tears never stop coming
Waterfalls of endless, bleeding, harrowing pain
It CRASHES DOWN ON ME
LIKE AN ORCHESTRA IN A CRESCENDO
SMASHING THUMPING BEATING DRUMS SO LOUD ITS DEAFENING
But all you're left with is a deafening silence
And somehow that's more sinister
A silence that whispers you're greatest fears
Your worries , your mistakes
A silence that uses you abuses you wound after wound
Until you're battered
And beaten
And have no more strength to keep on fighting
