When you smile
You make my heart smile
When you speak your words dance
and twirl and flutter like birds
singing a song of constant unapologetic bliss
your eyes are embers dipped in a caramel fondant
roasted with walnuts and brown like autumn leaves
The crinkles in your face as a smile lights it up
Like lines on a map with an ever changing destinations
Sets whole worlds on fire and whole hearts alight
Overwhelmed by the radiance of your soul
And blinded by the candor in your beauty
