As the volcano of tears erupted from my eyes
I found only emptiness around me
No arms to hold
No one to turn to
So I hugged myself
Wrapped a shield around my heart
Unwilling to let anymore sadness in
One more drop and I might overflow
I buried myself 10 feet deep
Safe from the pain of people
Safe from the danger in not understanding
Safe from myself
