"You two killed my deputy! I should have you killed at this moment!" A tall, dark brown tom snarled from the tallest rock in the small camp. The rest of the cats had been gathered around the two perpetrators. There was a light brown female with soft blue eyes with a white tom that had brown flecks on his coat. His eyes were a dark murky green but there was fear in them.
"Please brother! I didn't do it! I would never have killed your mate!" The female shouted, the worry and fright filling her voice. There was a visible tremble in her paws as she looked up at the brute glaring down at her.
Somewhere near the front of the cats gathered around the two were two small cats. One of them had a coat of dark grey fur that was almost black in the dim light of the moon and stars above them. The other looked like the female in the center of the group. She had the light brown fur of the female but the dark, murky green eyes of the male.
"She did nothing! You should look at the other males! Maybe someone like was a little too close!" The small light brown shecat hissed with true spite. Her eyes darted around to a dark male who was hiding in the shadows. He had always been too close to the female deputy for his own good.
"Enough from the two of you! You are nothing to me. I would kill you right now if you weren't my sister and my sister's kit. Instead, I will exile you." The brute of a leader hissed from the tall rock jumping down in front of the two cats in the center. His dark green eyes glared at the two smaller cats. His look told them to come up without even having to say a word.
"B-brother... I swear to StarClan! It wasn't me. Please, believe me." The light brown female with the light blue eyes said quietly bowing her head down close to the ground scared. She was not sure what the brute would do.
"We did not do it. You have to believe us! Why would either of us kill a pregnant shecat?" The white male said finally speaking up to cover for his terrified mate. He matched the leader's gaze with a cold one of his own.
The two brutes faced off. The females cowered the other way not wanting to get in the middle of it. It looked like a fight would break out between the two. The dark brown tom picked his paw up and clawed the other male in the face pushing him to the ground.
"Get out of my face unless you want to die in front of your kits. You are the filth beneath my paw. You are nothing to me. I am not afraid to kill you right here and not, but I am willing to let you live for my sister and that is it." The taller brute spat in the smaller one's face.
The white tom whimpered and pulled away slowly. "I will go. I will be back. I can promise that." He mumbled flicking his tail to the three females to follow him. They followed him quickly as the rest of the clan snarled and spat at them.
"Goodbye SmallClan..." the smallest of the four whispered looking back with her light blue eyes that were the same as her mother's. "Please don't forget me. I wish to be here." She whispered again before scampering out after them.
