"Thanks for helping me there Rosepaw. I'm glad you were on that patrol or who knows if I would have been able to get some prey and a bit of rest." Shadow meowed to the small apprentice as the shecat took her over to a den that smelled strongly of herbs. It must be the medicine cat den.
"No problem. You are just lucky I was with you. What kind of prey do you want?" The female asked Shadow. Shadow entered the medicine cat den and looked back at her.
"Hm, a vole would work fine for me. Thank you again Rosepaw. I'm going to see if I can get a poppy seed." She called to the apprentice and saw the medicine cat of BoneClan.
"Poppyseed huh? Over there. I would advise some dock too. I can see you limping and I'm blind." The cat called from her nest not even bothering to pick her head up either.
"Thank you Bateyes. I will leave you to get some rest." Shadow purred to the old shecat and grabbed a poppyseed and some dock leaves for her paws. They must have been cracked and that was making her limp. She took them both quickly and exited the den to find Rosepaw with a vole.
"Here you go! You can sleep in the apprentice den with me and Featherpaw. We are the only two but some more should be coming soon." Rosepaw said dropped the vole and heading over to the small den with her and her sister. Shadow grabbed the vole and headed to the den. She found an empty nest and laid down to eat.
"Hey, you are back. Are you going back to SmallClan? Are you going to be a warrior again or stay a rouge?" The white and grey tabby shecat asked curiously. Shadow swallowed the prey she had and looked at her.
"I am going back only because my pack will be moving here until the threat we have is gone. I'm going to stay a rouge for now. I don't know if I'm ever going to be a warrior. I don't even know what my warrior name would be." Shadow said laying her head on her paws.
"Hm, maybe it could be Shadowserpernt! That would be a cool name. Did you ever see your mate? We left before we could see him. Is his nice? Is he cute?" Rosepaw suggested and then started to ask questions that made the dark grey shecat giggle.
"I like that name, it's different. I did see him but we aren't really mates right now. He's really nice and super cute but all mine." Shadow laughed putting her paw on the shecat's nose.
"We should let you get some sleep. I'm sure you still have a journey and a half before you are done." Featherpaw said curling up and closing her eyes. Rosepaw followed the other apprentice and Shadow followed right after then.
"Goodnight you two." She whispered before going to sleep.
