It was high moon when the light brown shecat known as Eaglepaw returned. Shadowpaw woke back up to see her sister return with some fur under her claws that was not from her or the birds that was in her mouth. It looked like the same dark brown fur as the leader of SmallClan. Shadowpaw didn't say anything as she cautiously went over to her sister and took a mouse from her jaws.

"Thank you Eaglepaw. Any injuries? I can put some cobwebs on them but until morning I can't do anything else." She said to her only sister that had survived. She had a brother and another sister but they died in the cold.

"None. I was just hunting. I don't know why I should get any injuries." Eaglepaw replied roughly as she laid down to dig into the vole she had for herself. Shadowpaw nestled herself next to her sister as they always did in the apprentice den.

"I was just making sure. You could have run through a thorn bush or something. I wouldn't want you to get hurt." The dark shecat said carefully. She didn't want her sister to connect the dots but she wasn't the brightest anyways. Shadowpaw had to choose her words carefully from now on out unless she wanted to be scratched.

Eaglepaw just nodded in response to her. She tore open the small vole before looking back at her with her murky eyes. She opened her mouth to say something, but then quickly closed it as if she was thinking. In those eyes of her were curiosity but a hint of doubt. The doubt was hard to see, but still present.

"If I got hurt I will tell you. Don't worry. Shadowpaw, can I come with you to get some herbs? It would be good to let our parents get over getting exiled, and it would be good to have a fighter with you just in case you get attacked by something. I know you can escape really well, but what if you meet rouges? They can climb tree." Eaglepaw stated looking at the other female. Her eyes flicked over to the two older warriors sharing a bird and talking in whispered. Their mother looked heartbroken.

"That's a good idea Eaglepaw. Do you think that we should change our names? We are rouges now." Shadowpaw asked her sister which caused her head to snap up with a glare.

"We are not rouges. We are much better than them. We are only loners. I think we should talk to our parents first and figure out if they want to or not." Eaglepaw hissed at the other female sitting next to her. The look in her eyes changed to spite and hatred.

"You are right. I'm sorry. I should have said loners. My mind slipped. I agree that we should talk to Ferretwillow and Ripplespeck. That is the best idea." Shadowpaw said speaking carefully again looking back to her sister with thoughtfulness and concern in her light blue eyes that challenged the other female.

"Yes. Now finish your prey. I knew you would like that. Tomorrow we will head out to get your herbs and get some more food unless you want to have a little fun now." Eaglepaw spoke with a smirk on her face and danger in her eyes. Shadowpaw rose an eyebrow carefully and flicked her tail.

"Hm, let me finish and think about that. What would we be doing in this high moon adventure?" Shadowpaw asked taking the finishing bites of the piece of prey that she had taken for herself and listened to her sister speak.

Eaglepaw took the last of the bites of her vole before looking at her sister. She looked like she didn't have a clue what they were going to do before Shadowpaw had asked.

"I scented some rouges while I was out hunting. Want to scare them with me?" Eaglepaw asked.

Shadowpaw thought the question over. They could easily get caught and taken, or they could even be killed. That would not be good at all. What would their parents say? Could she even agree to this? When would they go out?

"Let's go."

Yes! Another chapter. Eaglepaw is going to be a fun character to write for those of you that already know her. She's a lot of 'fun'
