The group made it to the territory as the sun was starting to set. That was rather good time for hunting, taking a small break, and running into a patrol from BoneClan. Everyone was tired but they still hadn't made it to where their camp would be. It was just a little bit more until they were there. They could easily make it. Shadow held onto her three kits as they fell asleep curled up against each other.
It wasn't long until they got to the makeshift camp. Night put his two kits down safely and then laid down next to them.
"Thank you Heatrumble, Flashingnose, Redpaw. You may go back to your own camp and tell Junglestar we are safe. We will be making sure we are all okay and then rest for a bit." The black tom meowed looked at the clan cats. Heatrumble nodded and followed the other two out of the camp taking one last glance at Shadow.
The dark grey shecat put her three kits down gently not wanting to wake them up and curled up around them. She felt warmth next to her and looked up to see Mud and Brown by her.
"Got room for four more kits and two toms with you?" Mud asked with a smile as he placed down the two kits with the other three.
He curled up next to Shadow as close as he could watching as his brother put the other two kits down and curled up close but not daring to get close enough to touch Shadow. Shadow purred at Mud and laid her head on his paw before going to sleep quickly.
"The eagle will strike soon. Watch after the kits for they will be the first to go if she comes." A voice called to her as Shadow woke up in StarClan again. She sighed looking around trying to find out who was telling her this.
"I already know she is going to attack soon! We are safe for now but not long. She will find us soon and attack." Shadow said shaking her head at the stars trying to make sense of what they were saying.
"The eagle is already soaring above. She waits until it is light out to attack the young. Watch out for her since her claws are sharp and stained in the blood of innocent cats." Another StarClan voice sounded but no one the dark shecat knew. Shadow growled looking away.
"I know she had killed many! She has killed Sunwish, Ferretwillow, Ripplespeck, took two lives of Junglestar, and almost killed Mud. She is no longer innocent but someone from the dark forest." Shadow said yowling at the stars now.
"The eagle tastes for something new. The mud has been taken by the shadows but the brown claws of protection have not been consumed yet." Yet another voice called out to the female. Shadow's eyes widened as she understood part of it. Her sister would come for Brown next.
