Shadow looked around seeing a circle forming around her and another female. She was suppose to fight this female and if she won, she would be able to see Mud again. In the back she could see the dark ginger tom with a dark brown tom watching. She just hoped that the dark brown tom was actually Mud. She unsheathed her claws and eyed her opponent. She would have to be smart as this was one of the best fighters in MistClan.
"Are you ready there, kitty?" The female hissed getting in a fighting stance with her haunches bunched up.
"If you are ready to get beat, then yes." Shadow hissed back at the female even though she knew cockiness would get her nowhere. She just focused on the fighting.
"Let the fighting commence!" Flarestar's yowl sounded through the whole camp loud and clear. Shadow flicked her ear waiting for the other female to make a move.
At the flick of a tail, the other female jumped into the air heading toward the smaller dark grey female. Shadow flexed her claws for a moment and dashed under the shecat taking her claws at her belly quickly. She had learned that move from one of the older warriors in StarClan that was foolish enough to leap in the air with a well trained warrior in front of him. The female that Shadow was up against winced as she hit the ground. She turned back quickly and clawed Shadow's tail and back legs.
Shadow hissed in pain turning quickly to get a scratch on her nose. She wrinkled up her nose and blindly swiped at the warrior in front of her. She knew she had to win if she wanted any chance of ever seeing Mud again.
"Come on Shadow! You can do it!" A loud voice called out. She flicked her ear in the direction of the call and realized it was Brown's soothing voice. She smiled. She had someone cheering for her at least.
"Shadow! You have to win!" Another voice called out. It was somehow familiar but she hadn't heard it in moons. Mud. It was his voice!
"I'm sorry there warrior, but there is no way you are keeping me from my mate!" Shadow snarled charging at the female and barreling her over getting some scratches on her sides from the other. The dark grey female pinned the other down and snarled in his face. "Surrender now or lose in the next few heartbeats." She growled in her face.
The other female had fear flicker on her face. She knew how much the other wanted to be with her mate and looked toward the leader for help. The other female felt bad for losing to a rouge but she had lost to one before.
"I- I surrender! Please, just let me go with my life and my tail tucked between my legs." She whimpered to Shadow. Shadow growled but let her up and stepped away. She had won.

Yassssss! She has won. We might skip Brown's fight cuz we don't really need it now.
