Shadow woke up in StarClan after taking a small nap and saw her parent and two mentors standing in front of her. She titled her dark grey head before sighing wondering what they wanted this time. They always came to her when they wanted her to train to get stronger or go and find someone. She was getting really tired of it already. She just wanted some peace and quiet until her kits came. Ferretwillow was the first one to step up and begin to talk to her.
"Shadow, I want you to be even more careful now. Those kits, those five little kits are going to rewrite the future for some clans. They must be born in a clan. If they are not, Eagle will find them and kill them." She said looking at the other shecat with the same colored eyes that she had. Shadow shook her head in disbelief. She couldn't leave Mud!
"I don't want to have my kits in the clans! They cast me out so I should cast them away as well. My kits deserve better than to think they could be cast away at any time. What about Mud? What will be do? I doubt they will allow him in the clans again since he already cast them aside as well." The dark furred shecat said lashing her fluffy tail back and forth. Behind her mother, Sunwish laughed.
"I'm sorry dear, but there is something you cannot change in the future and it's going to be here before the kits come. Eagle will come and she will strike. She is going to finish the job that she left undone." The older deputy said as she stepped up next to Shadow's mother. Ferretwillow looked at her daughter and nodded.
"It's true. No matter what future we try to look at he always dies. I'm sorry my sweet." She said wanting to comfort her good daughter but she stayed next to the dead deputy.
"No! It can't be true! I'll kill her! That means she can't kill him. He has to live! He has to see his kits and get to name them with me. I can't lose him again. I love him so much." Shadow choked out with her eyes starting to fill with tears. She just couldn't lose him.
"You don't kill her in time in that future. He already had a fatal wound. You just stop more death in the future, but there are more innocent cats you are killing if you kill her." Sunwish explained flicking her tail against the ground.
"But if I don't kill her, she will continue to kill more cats! How is that a good solution?" Shadow growled getting fed up with the StarClan cats. She will write her own destiny.
"She can be stopped by someone else when the time is right. One more thing has to happen under her claws and then she can die or several more will die." Ripplespeck said stepping up from the back.
