Shadow woke up in the middle of the night to Brown nudging her. She groaned and put her paw on his face for him to stop. That earned a small chuckle from him. It had been a few nights since they made their plan to find Mud in BoneClan and they were doing it tonight.

"Everyone is asleep now. Let's go now or we won't be able to get there in time. You know the way I suspect." He said going back to his somewhat cold self. The dark grey shecat sighed and lifted herself up and looked back at his deep brown eyes.

"Yes, I know the way I believe. It's the river. That should take us either all the way or around three quarters of the way. Once we get close enough, I can easily get us there. It's still been a while since I've been back to the clans." She said leaving out the fact that she sometimes went there to train. He didn't need to ever know about that or she would get in trouble. "The stars will guide us if we get lost." She smiled before heading to find the entrance and exit of the small camp.

She passed the nursery and saw all the kits curled up with Pebble and Muddle. She felt bad for leaving them but she knew it had to happen now. She just hoped that her three kits would survive until she got back. She only hoped that it wouldn't be long until they came back or everyone could be in danger for Eagle. She shuddered then felt Brown next to her. The tom had been helping her lately just in case his brother was really dead.

"I trust you, let's just get out of the camp quickly. I'll lead you to the river." He whispered to her and took the lead. She followed right behind him trudging through the cold and wet grass to the river.

Shadow soon saw the river crashing against the grass next to it. It wasn't a rough current, but it wasn't gentle either. She shifted and looked at Brown. He flicked his tail staying silent and she started to take over the lead. She slowly walked as her worry started to eat her up. Brown had said the best could happen and the StarClan worried wouldn't tell her if her love was alive or dead. They only told her that going to the clans to look for him was the right thing to do and once she got there they would tell her if he was alive or not.

"Shadow, are you worried? It's hard, but we have to go there. I think it is the best thing to do. The kits will be fine. Night is protecting them and I don't think your sister will appear if she still thinks you are there." Brown's warm and calming voice told me softly as he was next to me now instead of behind me. I just numbly looked at him and nodded.

I'm sorryyyy, with school and exams it was hard to find time to write. I'll have everything I missed up over the weekend.
