Shadow's Suffering

Chapter 34

Shadow woke up and saw she was in StarClan. She smiled softly knowing her mate was alive. She looked around trying to find Sunwish knowing the female would come to her.

"Shadow. There you are." A soft voice said from behind her. Shadow's ears perked and her head twisted to see the light brown female behind her. Her light blue eyes just like the other female's widened.

"No! You can't be dead. We can go back to the clans. You have to be alive. What about Ripplespeck? I was going to find you and bring you back to the clans with Mud, Brown, and me!" Shadow whimpered going to her mother quickly. She couldn't believe she was dead now. She hadn't been brought to StarClan for a while. Shadow just wondered how long she had been dead.

"He's dead as well honey, but he's scared to see you. He didn't want you to be upset. Please don't cry my little love. We are okay. We don't have to suffer anymore." Ferretwillow purred trying to settle her kit down and get her so she wouldn't cry. Shadow just buried her head in her mother's fur and didn't move for a moment.

She still couldn't believe it and wanted to cry. Her parents were dead and they died most likely at the paws of Eagle, her own sister. She knew what she had to do now but she needed more strength. She would never defeat Eagle with the strength she had now. The other female had too much. She had to be stopped but only Shadow could do it. She didn't want to drag Brown or Mud in the fight with her.

"Mother, it was Eagle wasn't it? Did she torture you or make it quick? Who did she kill first? Did you have to see father die? Did he have to see you die? How many more lives is this crazed rouge going to take from this world?" Shadow asked her questions being both curious and sad.

She just hoped Night and everyone back in the pack was okay. There wasn't going to be many ways that they could have defeated Eagle if it was just him fighting. Pebble and Muddle would have been protecting the kits if she were to strike. The kits would be gone as soon as Night died. Eagle would let no one live.

"It was your sister. She made it quick and I died first. Your father had to watch me die but only for a few moments for he was dead shortly after I was killed. For that last question, it is how many ever you let her take and not defeat her. You have to take her life before she can take more lives. You are the one that can do it because you know her better than any other cat in the living world. If you are worried about your friends in that rouge pack, they are okay for now but not for long. You have to return as soon as you can." Ferretwillow answered her questions and left her a warning before Shadow woke up.

All of the chapters that should have been done by Thursday in this book are done now! I have no clue for the other book but It will be soon I believe! 31 more chapters before I'm all the way caught up!
