Shadow soon found the black furred leader and walked over to him slowly. She didn't want to scare him and dipped her head in front of him.
"Night, I have been to the clans for certain reasons. If you wish to know about them more, I will tell you but let me ask you one thing before you say no. We are at danger from my sister again. Junglestar, the leader of SmallClan, has offered to take our small pack in his territory to protect us from her. Would you please accept it? It would be easier for us if you did and we had someone else to protect us." Shadow asked the tom as he looked up to her. He flicked his ear and thought for a moment before opening his mouth for an answer.
"I think it's a smart idea, Shadow. I just have one concern. What about all the kits? There are only six of us that can carry them and nineteen kits. There isn't any way that we can carry all of them in one trip and if we do separate ones, we are more likely to get attacked." Night asked the female with concern. He definitely didn't want to leave the kits with no one to defend them. They were his kits and didn't want to leave them.
"I would need to tell Junglestar we are coming so I can come back with a warrior or two if I have to. Don't worry. We will be safer and we aren't leaving anyone behind. With your permission I would like to go back to SmallClan to tell their leader we will be coming to their territory for a little bit." Shadow meowed keeping her head dipped down so that he could see she was trying to be respectful. The tom looked at her and nodded.
"Fine, I trust you to go alone as well. I need the fighting power here anyways. Be back soon and bring two warriors at the least. Three would be best so we don't have three kits that don't have someone carrying them if we all have two." Night said before looking at the nursery with all the kits playing together with a moss ball. A small smile formed on his face.
"I will do, but I have to do one thing. I'll be back in a heartbeat." Shadow said with a small smirk and rushed over to the nursery. "Who wants to ambush Night and cover him in fluff?" She whispered to them.
"I do!" They all cheered. Shadow giggled and looked at them.
"Wait for my signal. It will be two flicks of my tail." She said before heading back to the leader. "Sorry, I just wanted to say bye to them all." She said dipping her head.
"It's fine. They would appreciate that." He said drawing his attention back to her. Shadow flicked her tail twice and the kits came running to their father and jumped on him covering him in a pile of kit fluff.
"Got you!" They all cheered.
