Shadow and Mud went to hunt after their talk. They stayed away from each other so that they could both thing. Shadow was busy creeping up on a rabbit to see the flash of a red tail that was creeping up on her. In one single leap, she had the rabbit but something else had her in its jaws. She twisted around and let out a small yelp hoping that Mud would hear it at the least. She hissed dropping the rabbit quickly.

She managed to get out of the jaws of the creature and quickly realized it was a fox. She remember the scent from her family's old den before she was taken by the rouges. She was bleeding heavily on one side that had the worse of the teeth marks. She put her weight on her better side getting herself off balance. The fox smacked at her but she was quicker. Shadow dodged above the paw and smacked the fox in the eyes.

"Shadow! Get out of the way!" A hiss came from a much deeper voice than she had expected. She turned to see the dark brown eyes of Brown, not the lighter brown eyes of Mud. She mumbled a few words under her breath before limping back once the tom had distracted the fox.

It was like lightning, his paws were barely able to be seen. He was quick. He was like Eaglepaw easily. They both knew how to fight and how to fight well. The fox scratched at the male and hit his one eye.

"Brown! Be careful!" Shadow whimpered hoping that Mud's brother wouldn't get seriously hurt.

She wanted to jump in and help out but her coat was already covered in blood. She needed to find some cobwebs to stop the bleeding and then marigold to clean it out later. She thought about what she would need to get for Brown later. Most likely, he would need the same kind of stuff as her.

"Shut up mouse brain! I'm trying to win this fight here and not listen to you. You are just a distraction." He hissed ducking just barely under the paws of the fox. The claws caught his ear giving a small nick in it, but it didn't seem to bother Brown.

"I want to help! Just let me help. I may not be able to fight, but I can do a lot more." She argued back with him but hoped that it didn't distract him. He didn't see a paw that knocked him to the ground since he had been looking at her.

"Run! Go get Night and Mud! I need their help if I'm going to defeat this pesky little thing." Brown hissed pulling himself back to his paws. She could see he was bleeding on one of his sides and it was already full of dirt. She was going to have to clean that out later.

"I'll try. Keep safe Brown. Don't you die ok all of us." Shadow said before heading quickly toward the camp wanting to get there soon and forgot about her wounds.
