Shadow woke up and looked around slowly trying to remember where she was. This was not the rouges' camp. Not even close. This place was full of flowers and was bright. Her bright blue eyes flicked around until they found a cat that was coming her way. The cat looked normal far away, but as she came closer, Shadow could tell that her pelt wasn't normal. She held the stars in her pelt. StarClan. I'm in StarClan! Did I die? The young feline asked herself before the star covered cat began to speak.

"Young Shadow, you were brave to follow your family. You knew that was the right choice, but following the soaring bird was not a good one. It landed you in the paws of the black sky. Use the cat with the name of wet dirt as your ally. He will be the one to break you from the sky's grip." The female cat with the stars in her paws spoke gently. Her eyes looked familiar to Shadow. She new the young hope and bravery in them.

"Sunwish? What are you telling me? I'm not a medicine cat. I'm a useless rouge now. I don't even have a clan name." Shadow said with doubt in her weak voice. She didn't know what the StarClan warrior was getting at. She didn't understand prophecies and never would.

"You will find it out, for the rest of that. I have Leapingleaf that will take care of your medicine cat path and I will help with your fighting from here. Your ally shall help you with your hunting. I believe you can manage that. Now wake up. We will speak again tomorrow at high moon." Sunwish said and started to vanish.

Shadow opened her mouth to beg her to stay but was awake in her nasty nest before she could get anything out. Brown was now in charge on her guarding. She let out a small sigh thankful it wasn't Mud so she could still relax. Brown didn't seem to be paying attention that she woke up so she stayed still not wanting to ruin her peace.

After a few moments of her peace, she saw the other dark brown tom coming toward her with some prey in his mouth. He spotted that she was awake and flicked his tail in greeting. She offered a small smile thankful that he didn't try to talk with the prey in his mouth, but it did bring Brown's attention to her. He snarled hatefully with a glare that could kill a mouse.

Shadow quivered back scared from the male. She retreated to the back corner of her dug out den watching as the two brothers talked in whispers. She wished to know what they were talking about but she could not hear them. She heard parts about her name and that was about it.

"Hey Shadow!" Mud said finally turning to the dark furred rouge. He wasn't talking in the hushed whispers anymore trying to keep what he had to say a secret. Instead, he was being his happy self and paying attention to her. She never understood the male. He could go from miserable to happy in a few moments. It was confusing to her.

"Hey Mud. Is that for me?" She asked him hopefully since she was starving. He shook his head and gave it to Brown.

"Sorry Shadow, but it was for Brown. He's with you today." He said before retreating back to wherever he had come from.
