Chapter 41

Megan's pov
I just stood there wide eyed at my friend. Still amazed that she will be my soon to be sister-in-law. I eventually snapped out of my daze as I yanked her wrist into the direction I was going. I ran through the twists and turns of the house because somehow, we managed to get in the kitchen. I hauled to a stop in front of Tyson's door. "Ready to tell em?" I asked. She looked nervous, but she gave me a curt nod, and I yanked open the door. Me and Kat were grinning ear to ear as we saw Tyson looking at us weirdly. Kat took a big breath as she showed her brother her ring now placed on her finger. His eyes held surprise, happiness, anger, and delight. Finally after his little daze, he seemed to snap out of it and open his mouth to say something. "Wow. My sister is going to get married before me." He said breathlessly. Kat held her hand up and said, "Uhh, probably not. Just because I was proposed to first doesn't mean I'll get married first. I told him I wanted to wait awhile before we decide to elope. This just is a symbol of commitment." She explained to Tyson. He just nodded nervously while she smiled suggestingly. I wasn't paying attention to what they were talking about until water was suddenly dumped on my head. I gasped in shock and immediately ran out of the room only to have the thudding footsteps right behind me. Before I could make it to the front door I collapsed in the floor to reveal my gorgeous tail. I looked up to see a smiling Tyson and Kat. I just glared at them while they laughed. "Hey! Why'd you do that?!" They tried to contain there laughter but, failed miserably as they continued to laugh until Tyson finally got a hold of himself and gasped a, "uhh, well we just thoug-haha- ht that it would be cool to see your tail since you've never shown me before." I nodded in clarity, but immediately stopped to glare at them again. "Well, you could've just asked!" They flinched just a teenee bit. Before they both mumbled 'sorry'. I accepted there apology and declared "now go take me to get banana muffins." They nodded as Tyson grabbed his keys and we left the house to get my muffins.

Sorry this is a very short chappie. But I will edit this and make it longer after I complete it. Oh and this book is almost over. I don't really know how I'm going to end it yet but if you want you can give me a few ideas in the comments. And comment on which book cover you like the most. The one I have now is part of this.
