The next day Clint, and his brothers, went into town to rob passing travelers for their goods, money, and their jewelry. Clint tells his brothers ''Okay men if you see a stagecoach with a bunch of passengers rob them, but if they don't give up their goods then kill them."So they watch out for a stagecoach all day long, and eventually one passes through, so Clint, and his brothers steps out in front of the stagecoach, and Clint says ''Okay this is a robbery give us your guns, your jewelry, and your money, but if you don't we'll kill you, and take your money any darn way so it's up to you, but if I we're y'all I'd give up the goods, guns, and jewelry. So two of the passengers, do as requested. The other two however, was then shot, and killed, and Clint, and his brothers robbed the dead men, but all of a sudden the driver of the stagecoach grabs his twelve gauge rifle and shoots Clint in the leg, and Clint said to his brothers '' Son of a God fearin woman! I've been shot!.'' However, Clint brothers chase the driver of the stagecoach down, and they kill the driver. They then go back to Paul's hotel, and then they got Maggie to dig the bullet out of Clint's leg. Paul had went to the table and sat down in the chair, then he started to write in his diary.
Dear Diary, I've seen a lot of stuff in my day but my friend Clint is wounded I just hope he survives.He had wrote in his diary. Later that night Paul, goes in to check on clint, and Clint is cussing up a storm Clint told Maggie "Take this GD bullet outta me you darn woman Now!" Maggie then said to Clint " Look here heathen I'm not gonna take this you're gonna sit here in my house, and your not gonna use the Lords name in vain but let alone cussing in my house." Paul then got mad and goes over to Clint, and said to Clint "If you ever talk to my woman like that again I promise I will kill you." Paul then goes off to town to drink whiskey, and to play cards, Paul sits down orders some good ole' Kentucky bourbon whiskey, and he then drinks it down. Paul then goes to play cards, but luck is on Paul's side, but that's only cause he's cheating, and the other people
