"Sure. Now talk." Sabi ko kay Ken at nakita ko syang napabuntong hininga.

Napakunot pa ang noo ko na parang hirap syang sabihin ang kung ano mang sasabihin nya. Napasuklay pa sya sa buhok nya saka ako hinarap.

"I know that it was just an arrange marriage Quen, how can you stay so calm with this issue kahit hindi mo naman deserve na masiraan ang pangalan mo?" He asked na ikinaayos ko ng tayo.

"Where did you even got the idea that we were just arranged?" Kunot noong tanong ko.

"I was supposed to be with you on that interview right? I was stuck on the traffic pero sumunod ako, no one's outside the office kaya naisipan kong pumasok na lang sa mismong opisina ni Mr. Smith and I heard everything." Paliwanag nya na ikina-poker face ko.

"Oh? So what's your point? Kung arranged marriage man kami, anong problema?" Tanong ko at tinignan nya ako.

It was like he's contemplating whether to say what his eyes wants to say to me or not.

"Because I like you...and I can't accept the fact na hindi mo naman ginusto ang mapasok sa kasal na ito and yet here you are, this issue came out and your name is being dragged on things that isn't true."

Napamaang ako sa sinabi nya at tumikhim.

Wow. Too many informations for a day.

I never even imagined that someone, I mean Ken will like me. Mahilig syang mang-asar sa akin pero kadalasan naman tahimik na nagmamasid lang at hindi  ko iisipin na may gusto sya sa akin dahil ganoon sya sa lahat.

Pero hindi ko nagustuhan na mas maalam pa sya sa nararamdaman ko.
Like he knew my feelings when the truth is he don't.

Napabuga ako ng hangin bago sya tinignan.

"Aren't you gonna say something? I just confessed you know. Am I too late?" Tanong nya at tumango ako.

"Look Ken, Liam and I might started in a wrong way but I didn't regret going to his office that day. Yes we were arranged to be together pero hindi ko man ginusto sa una but I realized that I do, I do liked being Mrs. Smith..."

"It's not because of the name or his wealth but because the guy who owns that, not only gave me his name but also his heart. Liam gave me his heart and I will too. I don't even care if my name is being dragged on some nasty issue because my husband and I both know the truth. As long as I have him and Gabby, I'm okay. Heck, I am more than okay."

Mahabang sabi ko and I felt a little pang of guilt when I saw his sad eyes. His my friend but he was wrong about us. Hindi ko rin sya pwedeng paasahin sa isang bagay na kailan man ay hindi ko maibibigay.

"I'm sorry Ken, I can't reciprocate your feelings 'cause Liam already got me. He already have my heart."
Inalis ko ang pagkakatingin ko sa pinto sa tapat namin at nag-angat ng tingin sa kanya.

I smiled faintly at him and he nodded. He gave me a weak smile and nodded as if he already realized something.

"Okay, I'm sorry. I like you but it seems that I won't be able to give you your happines, pero kapag hindi ka nya inalagaan, sabihin mo lang sa akin and I won't hesitate to get you from him." Sabi nya and I nodded.

I smiled at him slightly saka ako lumapit sa kanya at ginulo ang buhok nya.

"Kay Chelly ka na lang, mas bagay kayo." Biro ko at doon sya napasimangot na ikinatawa ko.

"Ewan ko sayo. Mauna na ako." Sabi nya saka umalis.

Kinarga ko na si Gabby ng makalabas sya sa banyo at nilingon ko muna ang likod ni Ken na naglalakad sa kabulang direksyon.
