Special Chapter Three

William Xander Smith

Elizander Victor Smith was born on the same day as my wife at exactly 6:30 a.m. It felt like it made us more complete having him in our family.

Kung masaya na ang pamilya namin, mas sumaya pa kami lalo, and I would never trade anything for my family. They are my treasure, my most valuable gem, and I am blessed to have a wife like Quennie and to have loving kids.

Years have passed and Gabby is now a surgeon and he's currently taking his master's degree. He became successful on his own and he even planned on building his own hospital, that my wife and I both planned to help him.

Eugene became true to his word of wanting to be a pilot, but my wife almost had a heart attack when she knew that he wants to be in the army to drive war jets and not just a simple airplane. He achieved his dream of becoming a part of the US Navy SEALs, but after his recovery from an operation in where he was injured badly, Quennie begged our son to just stay here with us in the Philippines.

I knew that something happened to him when he was in that operation that made him agree to his mother to leave his job. Napansin namin ang pananahimik nya na ikinabahala namin ng asawa ko, we thought he got traumatized but Eugene is a strong man, and he was trained to be tough.

Until my wife asked him and there, he cried in his mother's arms after opening up about what happened. Right now he's okay, and he's here with us, pero hindi maiaalis sa kanya ang hilig sa mga bagay na katulad ng propesyon na kinuha nya.

So instead of leaving the country or anything, I gave him the authority and command for our security agency. Sya na ngayon ang may hawak doon and he's also taking up units now to be able to fully understand and handle some of our business.

Stella is now a famous superstar, she's a talented girl, many people love her and I am happy for my daughter. Nakaya nyang pagsabayin ang paga-artista at pag-aaral nya, she's not just a famous personality in the Philippines and in Asia but she's also a degree holder in Business Management and Accountancy.

People saw her as someone who has beauty and brains that I couldn't disagree more.

While Zander, our youngest son is now ten years old. Hindi rin nagpapahuli sa mga kapatid nya and at a young age, he shows much more interest in Math that he even told us that he wants to be like my wife and I when he grows up.

"Ang lalim yata ng iniisip ng asawa ko ah? Mind telling me about it?" Someone whispered in my ears that made me snap out of my thoughts. It was my wife looking beautiful as ever.

We're both in our forties now but she looks like she haven't aged. When she recovered from giving birth to Zander, she was dissappointed with her gain of weight.

Sinabi pa nyang baka daw ako maghanap ng iba dahil ang taba daw nya. Which will never happen dahil kahit pa mataba o payat sya, mamahalin at mamahalin ko pa rin sya.

I made sure to her that I'll love her in any shape and in any form but she still pursued going on a diet. But her reason was more on being healthy.

"I was just thinking about our family, how blessed I am to have you and our kids." Sabi ko at naiiling na napangiti na lang sya.

"Ilang beses mo ng sinasabi yan, tumatanda ka na talaga." Biro nya kaya hinigit ko sya ng bigla at pinaupo sa kandungan ko.

"Tumatanda? Ako lang ba?" Biro ko din na ikinatawa nya. Her laugh really makes everything blissful.

"Hindi, mukha nga lang kayong magkuya nina Gabby at Eugene pag pinagtabi eh. Unfair, how to be you po?"  Tanong nya na ikinatawa ko.

"Well that's because of my secret." Sabi ko sabay nakaw ng halik sa kanya.
