"YOU'RE WHAT!?"
"Tori, I thought that you'd know that... well... I'm gay."
"B-but when? How?" I stuttered. I wasn't upset about her news, just shocked since I never knew anyone gay.
"Lol, I'm kidding. I'm just friends with your ex-boyfriend, whom I happen to have a crush on," Winter corrected, like it was no big deal.
I sighed deeply. "Oh, okay, you know you really- WAIT WHAT!" I exclaimed.
"Yes, I know. I'm so sorry I didn't tell you before. But here's the bad news: Hyungwon wants to see you," She informed. "PLEASE FORGIVE ME!"
I tried to calm my breathing down since I wasn't completely healed. Winter also tried to calm me down. That news upset me more than her joke before; though I wasn't very unhappy.
"S-so you mean to tell me that you've been friends, all along, with Hyungwon? And you didn't tell me? Moreover he wants to see me?" I exclaimed.
(a/n reminder: Hyungwon is Tori's ex. They dated in Canada)
"I'm SORRY! I didn't want to cause drama! It was easier keeping you two away, since you never visit his building," Winter explained.
My mind was filled with thoughts: after all those years, he wanted to see me. How did Winter become friends with him? Was he the person Winter went to hang out with whenever I was with Seventeen? How would Seventeen react to that? Moreover Seungcheol. Caleb would likely kill Hyungwon if he came close to me.
I soon calmed down from my frantic thinking session. I took a deep breath and looked back at Winter, who was looking down at her nails nervously.
"Tori... remember when I said that I liked him? Like thirty seconds ago?" Winter asked.
"I've got the memory of an elephant; of course I never forget," I reminded.
"Well?"
"Well? He's yours. You can take him," I permitted, "he's my past. It's been years - I'm over him. I couldn't care less. "
She looked at me with wide-eyes.
"THANK YOU!" Winter reached out and hugged me. I hugged her back.
"But what about the meet-up? Do you think he can meet me after I get discharged? It won't be long I hope."
"Ok, ok, I'll tell him," chirped Winter.

"Yo Tori- oh, Winter, you're here," said Caleb as he barged in my hospital room.
My mom elbowed Caleb on the side of his stomach. He yelped in pain, as she whispered, "Be nice."
"Hello, Winter," my father greeted, in which Winter returned by bowing.
My family, Winter, and I chatted a bit before my mother brought up something:
"So, Tori, where's your boyfriend?" she asked, teasingly.
"Boyfriend?!" My dad, Caleb, and I repeated.
"Seungcheol oppa, you mean?" Winter queried.
"No, I meant Lee Donghae," my mother replied with a hint of 'sarcasm.'
"Yup, definitely. And he's currently in my heart," I informed.
Caleb rolled his eyes and gagged. What did you expect coming from someone who'd never been in a relationship before? My father, too, sighed and rolled his eyes.
"Did Seungcheol ask you the question?" dad interrogated.
"No, he did not ask me to be in a relationship with him," I stated, as-a-matter-of-factly.
My mom raised her eyebrow and smirked. "But did he confess to you?"
I immediately looked down and turned slightly pinker, remembering the moment he confessed. All eyes were on me as I smiled.
"Oh. My. Gosh. He did, didn't he?" Winter squealed.
"I have no idea what you're talking about," I said.
"Honey, what did he say? What did you say?" my mom squealed with wide-eyes.
"You said, 'no,' right?" hoped Caleb.
Winter and my mother looked at Caleb with judging faces. My mom then looked back at me with hopeful eyes, while Winter stayed judging Caleb.
I smiled. "I said, 'nado'."
