They stopped.
The two protruding shadows melted back into the tempest of other silhouettes. A swinging door caught me by surprise as I jumped at the sudden noise. I sighed in relief but couldn't shake away the latching fear.
"Oh, hello! Tori isn't it?" Mr. Yoon greeted.
"Y-yes," I cautiously looked to my side and back at the man in front of me.
"Are you alright? Is something bothering you?"
I realized that while I was with the owner of Masterpiece, I couldn't be touched. I was safe. I shook my head, turning serious, and looked at the man with the intoxicated girl.
"Sir, he'll harm her..." I informed.
Mr. Yoon directed his attention to the mentioned man and widened his eyes in alarm and disgust at the sight. He looked back at me seriously and stated, "I'll take care of it."
He motioned for me to follow him to a security guard on the other side of the party hall. The music was too deafening for me to listen to the short exchange of words Mr. Yoon and the security guard had. The man in uniform nodded and headed towards the direction of the manipulative man.
"Thank you, Tori, for telling me," the owner thanked. "You still look shaken up. Would you like to sit somewhere?"
"Yes, please."
He ushered me to a quieter corner and ordered tea for me. I told him about the two men who spoke of obscene things about me and my paranoia. Mr. Yoon reassured me of my safety while I was with him and my friends. I finally calmed down as my fright faded away. The owner once again thanked me for telling him about the vulgar man and potentially saving the girl from rape or even more vile conducts.
"I don't want another incident to happen here," he murmured.
Confused and curious as I was, I asked the man what he meant by that statement.
Jeonghan's uncle sighed in remembrance of the incident and evaluated, "There was this group of troublesome teenagers. Eight males and one female. The lot caused trouble every now and then by breaking something or fighting, which was caused by excessive underaged drinking. I found out the girl brought marijuana, but my men and I couldn't catch her in time for arrest; they left quickly, but that time with another male. Thankfully after that, they never came back. Anyways I've said enough, here's my business card in case you find out how I can repay you."
I widened my eyes at what Mr. Yoon just narrated. He must have had a tough time dealing with that group of delinquents. I accepted his card and tucked it in my pocket.
"But there is one other thing I knew about the group: one of the males was foreign."
I nodded my head and thanked him for the tea and reassurance. The addressed man smiled and led me back to the karaoke area where my other friends were. After he left, I entered the room I was initially in to find a selcouth spectacle contained in that enclosed area.
Seungcheol was trying keep a drunk Seokmin under his control, as he tried telling Ash to calm down, while she screamed bits of song lyrics and 'danced' aggressively. Winter had her limbs sprawled out on the couch and an expression devoid of any care of her surroundings plastered on her face.
