Chapter 1: Jealous

3 years Later….

I am now the manager at H&M like I wanted to be, Instead of a honda accord I'm riding around and getting it in a benz. I live in a luxury condo and I love it. Yes, I am single I dated on and off but it wasn’t working out dating isn’t really for me. Kids? No I don't really want any anymore I don’t even have the time for them I did consider adopting once but I'm a little indecisive about that. Health? Everything is great so far and now I can finally fucking exhale. Praise God. Today I'm in the bridal shop with Toni, Yes, she is getting married to Jacob and I am so happy for her ,they are soul mates and he treats her way better than Trey ever did. He's short has a mocha complexion with a curly fade, and charming. If she wasn’t feeling him I damn sure would of hollered for a dollar. Just Kidding, but now it's time for me to try on my made of honor dress. And I can't fucking fit it because I got a little bigger okay a tad bit bigger. I'm not the super thin Cori anymore, I'm still petite but I have a shape now thank god. Ohh and my appearance? my hair is still cut in a banging bob, this time I'm blonde and I got my nose pierced with two tattoos. I wanted a little makeover.

“Oh god , It won't fucking fit” I whined trying to zippen the back “Here let me help you”Paris offered. Oh Paris is my home girl she actually has lupus just like me so we clicked at the hospital instantly. I love her so much we've been friends for two years and it has been a ball she knows a lot of celebrities. So I've been to a lot of VIP spots. I showed a couple of my artists my work and they loved it.

“I think you'll need another size” Paris laughed

“You think”? I laughed getting out of this red bridesmaid dress.

“I can't believe I'm getting married” Toni smiled shedding a tear. All of us hugged around her fat puffy dress hugging her.

“So who are the groomsmen?” I asked hoping there would be someone cute for me to flirt with.

“Umm well there's Jacob, Bryan, Jamal , Chres, and Nico” she listed

“Oh god , I forgot Jacob is Chres first cousin so he'll be in the wedding” I scoffed rolling my eyes

“I thought ya'll were cool” Toni asked raising and eyebrow

“I guess we are but  remember that day at the mall when I saw him shopping with some pregnant lady? I asked

“Oh yeahh” she said twidding her thumbs

Flashback

We were at the Mall shopping like we usually do and on the corner of my eye I saw Chres in a maternity store with some woman I figured that was his girlfriend or something. Toni was trying to distract me but I already saw it . We were sitting down eating at the food court.

“Toni, If you're distracting me it's not working because I already saw it” I hissed crossing my arms

“I'm sorry girl I know that has you feeling some type of way” she frowned

“Yeah , it does come on let's go” I frowned grabbing my bags from the table.

End of Flashback

“ Well ya'll didn’t date at the time so why are you upset? Paris asked

“I don’t know I shouldn’t be. If anything I should be congratulating him” I admitted putting on my clothes

“You miss him” Toni said

“Umm no its been 3 years I'm over Chres” I admitted

“She lying like shit” Paris whispered to Toni making her laugh

“I heard ya bitches” I laughed

“Oh umm Cori , Lisa's in the wedding too” she stared at me giving me a nervous smile

“Oh my god two people that I don't like are in this wedding but hey it is your wedding so I'm not tripping” I explained “Here she comes in now” Toni said “And that's my que” I said grabbing my bags

She came in as I was on my way walking out I cut her off “ Don’t either worry about me Lisa I'm fine and yes I'm still playing house but not with Chres” I said slamming the door shut

“She still hates me” Lisa frowned

“I have a plan” Paris smiled

It's my turn! I'm actually an athlete trainer now and I coach a high school basketball team. I love every second of it. I live with my girlfriend Lorielle but I call her Lori she's extra sweet and she's a dancer. Only thing is she can't cook for nothing but I'll get through it I guess. I live in a luxury condo and it's rather nice and I have two cars a benz and a range rover. I was watching Lorielle try her best to make my protein shake. Sometimes I miss how Cori makes them. Hmm I wonder how she's doing?

“You know babe, It's okay I got it” I laughed  trying to take over the blender

“When will I ever be able to cook” she pouted crossing her arms

“Aww come here” I smiled bringing her into a warm hug “You'll learn” I smiled “Oh Baby will you make it to the wedding I'm gonna need a date for the reception” I asked she looked up at me

“Oh Snap, I have competion that day I won't be able to make it babe sorry” she frowned

“It's okay, I'll be fine” I grinned.

“So how bout we go out for breakfast my treat” she smiled

“I'm down for that come on let me grab my jacket” I smiled

I was making my way in my condo until I dropped my keys I bent down and picked them up. I heard a familiar voice come out of there door I slightly turned my head and saw Chres walking down the hall with a woman. Oh my fucking god not again, Thank god he didn’t see me and I had my shades on. I got in the house quickly slamming the door I ran to the kitchen and grabbed my house phone and called Toni.

“Hello” she answered

“Bitch guess fucking what” I laughed

“Umm you got some digits” she guessed

“No , Chres is my fucking neighbor again bruh” I laughed

“Not again, Oh my fucking good” she laughed

But deep down inside Cori knew she was deeply jealous.
