Things are going great between Cori and I we don’t argue as much as we used too which is great. She seems happy and when she's happy she makes me happy. Oh I know what you’re wondering who was that Jordan person? That's actually my friend I grew up with he has a franchise jewelry company in NYC, Cali and Atlanta and I found the perfect ring for Cori I still didn’t know when or where to purpose to her I didn’t want it to be cliché like dinner and a proposal is so boring to me I wanted to do something very different because she deserves it. I was off today no one to train and no game today so I just laid around. I heard a whole bunch of yelling and I started to laugh because I knew it was my girl cursing someone out.

“So you mean to tell me there's 3 callouts and a no call no show”? She asked coughing she took a sip of her tea

“So you and Victoria are just there”? She asked

“Ok call to see if Amber and Diamond can come if not I'll come in” she said hanging up the phone

“I'm firing everyone” she whispered to herself placing her chin on her hand

“Who you cussing out again”? I laughed placing my hands on her shoulders

“You scared the hell out of me” she snapped quickly turning around.

“My bad shawty now get up and give me some love” I demanded smiling

“No I'm sick I don’t want you to catch anything” she scoffed coughing again

“I don’t care girl” I smiled she got up and turned around facing me she did look a little rough her hair was frizzy and she had a huge robe on with bags under her eyes. “I feel horrible, I think I have a cold’ she sneezed. I pulled her into a hug and kissed her forehead “Baby you're sick why don’t you just stay home your job will be okay “I insisted

“No I have to go or my supervisor will be upset “she explained  taking off her robe trying to the bathroom I gently pulled her back “But didn’t you say your supervisor was on vacation” I asked

“Yeah but I still have to go” she pouted

“No you're not going no one wants you coughing and sneezing all over the place” I explained making her have a change in thought. “Okay I'll stay home” she scoffed walking back into the bedroom to lay down

“I'll go get you some soup” I smiled grabbing my keys. But first I wanted to stop by the jewelers store to buy the ring I placed it on hold. I walked out in got inside of the car driving 30 minutes to get to the shop.

Everything has been fine between Chres and I'm still getting antsy and impatient about this marriage thing but I listened to mom's advice and I'm going to sit here and patiently wait. I laid back down because now my head was killing me I really hate when the weather changes because it makes me have a cold or something. I got back up and grabbed my cup of tea to put back in the microwave until my house phone rang. I picked it up

“Hello” I spoke in a raspy voice

“Umm is this Chres or nah? Lisa laughed

“Bitch stop playing with me I have a cold got dammit” I laughed

“Well at least your baby is here to take care of you mean ass” she laughed

“I'm not mean and yeah he does that” I blushed hard biting the side of my lip

“But how are ya'll though”? She asked

“Were good for now you know taking it one day at a time but we don’t argue as much like we used too which is a plus and girl I can't keep him off of me” I laughed warming up my tea
