173- Don't Cry

I scrolled through my instagram explore page, occasionally liking pictures of Shawn and I from fanpages or memes, whilst I lay against Shawn. His arm draped around my shoulder as he also used his spare hand to look through his twitter feed.

I then, stumbled upon a picture and my heart burst. I double tapped the picture before admiring the picture again but it wasn't long before tears started to drop from my eyes.

"y/n, what's wrong? Why are you crying?" I didn't say anything but he wrapped his arms around me and pulled me into a hug. "Don't cry. Please. What's wrong?"

"You're so hot." I cried and he laughed. "And the dog is so cute."

"Aw, sweetie." He pressed a kiss onto the top of my forehead.

"And you look so cute with a dog but I know we can't have one and I really want one"

"I'm sorry love, but is me or a dog."

"The dog." I cried, letting out a small laugh. He feigned hurt and placed his hand onto his chest. "I'm kidding, I love you too much."

"I love you more, baby." He cooed and wiped away the trails of tears. "Maybe we can get a cat instead."

"Maybe" I shrugged before I took a screenshot of the picture and made it my home screen. I sniffled and Shawn let out a laugh again. "Leave me alone."

"You're so hot and the dog is so cute!" He mimicked and I rolled my eyes.

a/n: i'm sorry but that picture!!! i'm dying for a dog as well which made me love that picture even more! anyway, the answer to the Q&A are down below:

1. "How do you come up with these imagines?Are there stories behind these imagines?"

I love to people watch! So the majority of these imagines are inspired by everyday people and everyday relationships however, some of the imagines are inspired by songs and sometimes I also try to write to build awareness. For example, there are few imagines I have written about rape, abusive relationships, drugs etc. so yeah, mainly people watching mixed with my imagination :)

2. "What was the first song of Shawn's you listened to and what was your reaction?"

Being honest, I was forced to listen to him against my own will and I remember it so vividly (looking back it was very funny). One of my best friends in dance was obsessed with J&J and Shawn, so one day I was teasing her about it (that sounds mean but she knew I was taking the piss) and she tackled me and pinned me to the floor, sat on top of me and made me listen to Life of the Party. To say it simply, I hated it so much and I still do- jk, i'm kidding. I'm actually not tho.

fun fact: when I went to see Shawn and he played LOTP, it made me cry harder than I already was cause it reminded me of her and we hardly see each other now cause she left dance cause she was moving away. So now LOTP means so much to me.

3. "How long have you been in the fandom for? and how did you find Shawn?"

I can't remember, is that bad? I feel like it was gradual thing I didn't just wake up one day and think 'ya know what, I'm gonna be a part of the Mendes Army.' so I think it may have been around 2 to 3 years, I'm not entirely sure. Sorry, that was a shit answer. Also, the previous answer is how I found Shawn.

7. "What would you do if you were with Shawn for a day?"

Well, if he came to me in my city. I would take him with me to explore the city; show him all the places I grew up, find new places to visit, do a load of fun activities, eat and just spend the day walking around and getting to know him. The same for if I visited his hometown, I would want to visit all the places he grew up and just explore.

9. "What do you normally like to do during your free time to get rid of anything that is bothering you?"

Well, I dance a LOT! I also like to sing so I do that involuntary cause I sing everywhere I go so that kind of what I do in my free time that helps get rid of stress or something that is bothering me but I sometimes go on a run then have a nice relaxing bath.
