A Happy Accident ~ Part 1

      If you are looking for more well-versed stories (significantly less cringe), I would recommend the more recent chapters of this collection. My personal favourite story in this collection is 'More Than Gold'.

Note: I do not own any pictures I use. All scenarios mentioned in my works are purely fictional. 

Extra Author's Note: It's so weird to see my own writing from years ago and there's quite a lot I'd want to change. But, I've decided to leave these up for those who still want to read them.

     It had been a long day. Longer than usual, and Jimin was starting to get tired of it. For the thousandth time, they put on their best smiles for the overly-enthusiastic TV show hosts. "Welcome!" exclaimed the host of that day, also looking fatigued from a long day at work. All seven members of BTS were invited to star on yet another variety show. Like always, they were all seated comfortably on a large sofa. Surrounded by the bustling camera crew, the show went on.

"Hey. Thanks for having us here today." RM replied, the dark circles under his eyes were visible under the thick makeup he was wearing.

"Thank you for coming! Today we will be playing our newest game, being unveiled here for the first time." the host said. "Spin the wheel to pick an Idol group." A staff member quickly pushed out a huge spinner wheel. This wasn't one of the more entertaining games they've been forced to play. It seemed to Jimin that reality shows were simply running out of good ideas. Oh well.

     Jimin began to yawn, despite trying to be inconspicuous. RM spun the wheel as hard as he could. At this point Jimin began to daydream, staring off into the distance. He didn't even listen to the instructions they were given. What was the point of this game again?

"TWICE!" yelled the host, over-enthusiastically.

...What?

     Jin burst into song, causing him to chuckle, despite feeling very confused. We had all watched the new MV last night. He had a strange feeling that it was going to be even more successful than the last. Their songs get stuck in your head so easily. He was so sure he could recall hearing their debut song on the radio that very morning.

"Yes, they are arguably the nation's #1 girl group. Do you know any of the members well?" asked the host. We all shook our heads. Not a chance.

"We always see them at award shows, but we never talk to them" quipped Jungkook. Jimin looked up in surprise. Jungkook never talked unless necessary.

"Ah, I see. Well, that will make today a lot more interesting. Let's begin! You will watch several videos of the group's album performances. Then, we will describe a member to you, so you can spot the person who matches our description."

          Their performance of a non-title track song popped up on screen. Jimin watched as intently as he could, yet found himself losing interest. Staring out into space, he wondered how many hours of sleep he was able to cram last night. He was simply minding his own business when a soft, little voice floated through his thoughts. He perked up, wanting to search for the source of that sound. And when he finally did, he couldn't take his eyes away.

       Wait... What on earth am I doing? He mentally scolded myself for being such a sap. Jimin knew was always weak for the little things. His members always scolded him for being a hopeless romantic.

       It's just hormones, I'm a guy and I'm being foolish. Jimin shook the thought out of his head and kept watching. Nonetheless, his mind swiftly wandered back on its own.
