"Come back in five minutes!" Nayeon warned, as Mina left the room. They were in a rush to leave Music Bank and head over to the JYP office building. They were just packing up when Mina realized that her phone was missing, having accidentally left it behind at the refreshment table.

Sana chuckled as the door closed behind Mina's retreating figure. "Finally, it wasn't me this time!" She grinned, cheekily.

"But it was you all of the other times." Jeongyeon shot back. Sana pouted playfully, having been caught at a loss of appropriate rebuttals. The other members giggled merrily at their exchange. However, all laughter was swiftly wiped from their faces with a resounding crash. The floor shook for a brief moment, promptly followed by an eerie silence. Then, the screams and worried voices of hundreds of people filled the air. Frozen on the spot with their eyes wide open, they made frantic eye-contact with each other, silently asking one another the same question. What was that?!

A staff member burst into the room. "We need to evacuate the building. Everyone out now!" He ran back out, likely to warn other people. Before they knew it, their managers had rushed them out of the room and pushed all eight of them into the hallway. They joined the throng of panicking people, stampeding through the halls. As they were dragged forward, the same realization flitted through each of their minds.

"Wait! Mina! Where's Mina?!" Chaeyoung asked, frantically. They tried to look over the heads of the crowd as they were pushed along, but to no avail. They were jostled around by the horde of people running out of the building. Eventually, they were led outside with other idols and staff alike, isolated in a separate area from the rest of the crowd.

It was only half an hour later when everyone was eventually informed of what had happened. The back, unused end of the building had apparently collapsed with no explanation as to why. Authorities didn't think anyone was there at the time, but they still needed to investigate. Standing outside, the suspense and their growing fear made the members of TWICE restless.

"I can't wait anymore!" Nayeon cried, terrified for her friend. Where was she? The eight of them split up and looked around for Mina, calling out her name. Calling and calling for her until their  throats were hoarse. Never receiving an answer. They stopped several other singers and idols, asking if they saw her during the commotion. Tzuyu wandered around, getting unbearably more nervous. She has to be somewhere here... Everyone got out. Right? As she continued to walk around, sadder, unsaid thoughts began to fill her mind. There's no way she's- she... Tzuyu shook her head, clearing those unwelcome thoughts from her head. Finding Jihyo, she linked their arms together. Tzuyu needed a nervous energy outlet. She needed to feel safe. Reassured.

"Mina!" she called out, hopelessly listening for a reply. They rushed around, turning here and there, until they bumped into another person. The said person whipped around to face them with worried eyes that matched their own. Quickly, they bowed to each other before cutting to the chase. They spoke at the same time, with the same level of urgency laced into their voices.

"Have you seen TWICE's Myoui Mina anywhere?"

"Have you seen Bangtan Seonyeondan's Park Jimin?

"Sorry."

"Whoops... I didn't mean to-"

They paused. They had crashed into BTS's RM, and by the looks of it, he wasn't having the best day either. Jihyo sighed sadly. "Missing someone too?"

"Yes, we've been searching all over for him. No luck. You haven't seen him?"

"No." Jihyo shook her head. "And you haven't seen Mina?"

Namjoon shook his head in return. He was then joined by another person.

"Found him?" Jungkook asked worriedly. RM just gave him a sad look. Seeing the congregation, the other members of both groups joined them. It would have been weird, but for now, they took comfort in other people who dealt with a similar problem at hand. They all shared their worries, exhausted from searching so hard. Quietly, Tzuyu voiced he concern.

"D-Do you think that... Just maybe... They were in there during the collapse?"

It was clear to see that everyone was thinking the same thing, too scared to share their thoughts. No one wanted to believe it. To Tzuyu's surprise, it was Jungkook who responded, making direct eye-contact with her as a form of reassurance.

"We can't think that way. We can't give up on them yet. And besides, if they're really in there, they could still be alive."

RM sighed. "But what are the chances of surviving that thing?" Collectively, they all turned towards the building, silently watching the pile of rubble lying across the tarmac. Tears welled up discreetly in their eyes.

"Bangtan, we have to go. Now." One of their managers called.

"But-"

"No, we have to leave."

The two groups quickly exchanged goodbyes. They were still having difficulties accepting the disappearance of the two. After all, they were like family to their respective friends. You can't leave family behind.

Later that night...

The members of TWICE sat around the TV, eyes glued to the news. Solemnly, the news anchor spoke about the incident.

Two people, that have now been identified as BTS's Park Jimin and TWICE's Myoui Mina, have been reported missing after the horrific collapse of the new Music Bank studio. They have not yet been found and authorities believe they may have been near the epicenter of the collapse when it happened. Search and Rescue teams are being put into action as we speak. No other people have been reported as missing, as most were no nowhere near the initial collapse at the time. The chances of them still being alive are incredibly slim, but police are still hopeful.

With a click, Nayeon turned off the TV, then hid her face in her hands. She'd just ended a call with Mina's parents earlier. They had to break the news to her distraught family. It was the most heartbreaking thing she'd ever done.

Tzuyu started to cry. This sparked the flow of emotions that tumbled out of the rest of the girls. They sat there, sobbing quietly. For all they knew, she was dead. They never had the chance to say goodbye. Little did they know, six other people across the city were experiencing the same pain. Watching the same news.

Crying for the same reason.

A part of them was gone forever.

They were incomplete.

They were broken.
