Oh no... Oh no, no no no no..

Mina was starting to panic... internally. She knew exactly what she was feeling at the moment, as well as the sole reason why she had found herself trapped in this predicament in the first place. The warm flush that overcame her skin when he was around, the exhilaration of a quickened pulse. It all made sense. She knew the symptoms well from the countless dramatic recounts she'd received from her far more experienced older members. Yet, she wanted to deny what she already knew.

There is no way I, Myoui Mina, am developing... feelings... for this guy I've just met.

First of all, this could only mean bad news. If the public found out, she'd never hear the end of it. It would not bode well for both of their groups. Mina wanted, so badly, to be dearly mistaken. She'd never had a crush on a guy before. It wasn't that she didn't care for romance, it was just that no one had ever clicked with her. But now that someone had, she didn't know how she felt about it.

Calm down, you're overreacting over something so little, Mina thought.

Yet, as Jimin turned around to flash another cheeky smile at her, Mina could feel her resolve begin to crumble around her again, adding on yet another layer of confusion to sugarcoat the previous offender.

Mina decided to stop staring at the floor and actually help him out. With her aid, they finished taking all their purchased items out of their respective plastic grocery bags. Mina's instincts for efficiency kicked in and she immediately set to work.

"Okay, first of all, this kitty needs her food." Mina smiled, taking out a container of canned cat food. "She must be starving." Mina scanned the vibrant label that was stretched across the face of the can, then swiftly stood up and headed back towards the kitchen. Opening several cabinets, Mina finally pulled out a can opener and a spoon. She immediately began preparing the canned food for consumption. Little did Mina know, she was being carefully watched by none other than Jimin himself. He had settled down on the couch with Minmin purring contentedly on his lap. Jimin smiled fondly as he looked towards the kitchen and observed her in a state of concentration. There was just something about her that was so... pure.

Jimin was glad she had it in her to rescue the kitten. He could see the genuine pleasure written on her face - the happiness she felt after doing something good, after saving their adorable companion. Jimin then realized that he'd been staring for way too long, and quickly tried to busy himself with something. He really  had a staring problem.

Luckily, Mina didn't seem to care or notice as she walked over and lowered a bowl of food down to the floor by Jimin's feet. The kitten hopped down and eagerly began to eat. With a contented sigh, Mina plopped herself down on the couch, right next to Jimin, bringing with her a unique, floral scent that he'd only just noticed. Silence ensued for a brief moment, while Jimin tried to slow down his escalating heart-rate.

"She's going to need a bath..." Mina said, after a while.

"Mhmm..." Jimin commented. "We can do that it the bathroom down the hall."

"Perfect."

After the kitten was well fed, they trooped to the washroom, soap, towels, and kitten in hand. Nervously, they turned on the water, trying not to make too much noise. After all, they didn't want to wake up any of Jimin's members. Once they had a decent temperature running, they anxiously lowered the cat into the tub. They were both fearing the worst, due to the common misconception that all cats are petrified of water. However, they were surprised to see Minmin sit there patiently, water streaming down her black fur. Thirty minutes later, Jimin was cradling a perfectly clean, warm, and fully fed kitty. They returned to the main living area, setting Min-ie down on the floor to play.
