Jimin and Mina entered the store to the sound of a small bell, notifying the cashier of their presence. Mina still had the kitten wrapped snugly against her, where it was purring contentedly. They perused the aisles, looking around until they found what they came for. In the far corner of the store, a small section of merchandise was dedicated to pet supplies and necessities.

"So, you'll need food, a few bowls, a bed, a litter box... And I think that's it. For now, at least." Mina concluded, counting off each item on her fingers. Jimin simply nodded in agreement, yet his mind was elsewhere. He noticed how his jacket gradually slipped down Mina's shoulder as she spoke. Absentmindedly, Jimin reached out to pull the jacket tighter around her. However, the small gesture flustered the both of them.

"Oh! Thanks... I guess..." Mina mumbled. Meanwhile, Jimin immediately turned a bright red colour and inched away, only just noticing how close they were.

"S-Sorry... I just-I noticed it slipping and-I didn't mean to.."

"It's alright..." Mina smiled awkwardly before continuing to walk slowly down the aisle. Together, they picked out what they needed. Mina was mostly in charge of judging what to get and how to spend their money wisely, while Jimin offered to carry everything for her. He was content just being able to watch her pout in concentration. Time flew by, and before they knew it, all that was left would be to pick up a few cans of wet food for their kitty.

The only problem was that the cans were stacked on the tallest shelf. Therefore, to reach what she wanted, Mina needed to stand on the tips of her toes and extend her arm as high as she could. Unfortunately, this exposed the entirety of her arm, causing Jimin to gasp in surprise and horror. Due to the fact that it was previously hidden beneath the jacket, Jimin had not known of the gash on Mina's wrist. The wound itself was not terribly large, yet the amount of blood that covered her arm was shocking. It seemed to have dried and spread out all over her arm during the time that had passed. Mina, however, did not notice that her arm was fully exposed, and was understandably surprised when Jimin stumbled and dropped several items on the ground with a loud crash.

"Mina!" he exclaimed, before clamping a hand to his mouth. His loud interjection, combined with the clatter of items to the floor, disrupted the peace and quiet of the tiny store. Quickly, he glanced around before continuing. "Mina, your arm!"

Mina looked down and realized what he'd seen. Quickly, she hid her arm from view, blushing as red as the blood itself. "O-Oh, that's nothing. I just - I fell earlier, and I guess it just spread around. But, it's not as big as it looks. I'm not bleeding anymore. I'm completely fine." she tried to reassure him.

Jimin stepped closer and softly grasped the arm she'd firmly hidden behind her back. When finally she let him look at it, Jimin sighed. "Mina, you should take better care of yourself. How about we go back to my dormitory and clean that up?" He realised how that sounded only after the words left his mouth.

Mina was flustered and taken aback. "But, we're idols. I can't just visit your apartment! "

"It's alright, no one will see. Plus, you can help me prepare for our little friend. Honestly, I'll need help to get Min-ie to settle down." Jimin smiled sheepishly. After a few silent moments of contemplation, she finally nodded in agreement. A few minutes later, Jimin walked up to the counter to pay, sporting a huge grin on his face. With their arms heavily laden with plastic shopping bags, they made their way to their destination.

Mina felt awkward approaching the tall doorway, after all, this wasn't her apartment complex. But, Jimin's welcoming smile eased her nerves as she stepped foot into the building and headed for the apartment. It was just as she expected, Mina observed. The communal area looked as though someone cleaned up regularly, save for the few random objects lying around. It was a little too cluttered for her comfort, but the shelves were stocked with music production equipment, awards, their own merchandise, and all kinds of anime memorabilia. Mina had to smile at how personalized their living space was. Jimin walked over to the kitchen as Mina perused the large apartment.  Pulling out a basic first aid kit and sitting down at a table, he beckoned her over.

"We have to be quiet, since my members are asleep." Jimin whispered. "Now, let's look at that wrist." He pulled up her sleeve and started wiping away the blood with a paper towel soaked in water. When he reached the area surrounding the gash, Jimin pulled out a swab of rubbing alcohol. "I'm sorry, but this will hurt a little bit." Mina just nodded and looked away, distracting herself by watching Minmin explore the room. As the swab came in contact with her wound, it stung. Badly. Jimin could tell from the way she bit her lip. However, he was surprised that she didn't make a sound or jerk away. She just sat there, her hand in his, letting him care for her. Wrapping a small amount of gauze around her wrist and taping it securely, Jimin nodded in approval and intertwined their fingers. "All done." He smiled at her.

Mina blushed looking down at their hands. Jimin contented himself by watching the little kitten romp around, meowing happily. He unknowingly continued to hold onto her, softly brushing his thumb over the back of her palm. Mina was at a loss for what to do, but she couldn't bring herself to pull away. Mina couldn't put her finger down on what she was feeling. Over the past few hours, Jimin had brought to light a surplus of emotions that Mina had never felt before. She couldn't help but feel nervous, maybe even afraid, of what this could mean. Maybe she should bring it up with her members. No, no, that would be a little embarrassing. But, on the other hand, he was undoubtedly kind, respectful, sweet, and caring. He immediately came to her aid and volunteered to keep the poor kitten. Mina was glad that people like him still existed in this world.

The kitten pattered over, gazing up at them with large, blue eyes. She circled the two of them, brushing up against their legs.

"It can be Min-ie for short." Jimin commented.

"What?" Mina asked, shaken out of her thoughts.

"We can call her Min-ie for short. Like a nickname."

"Oh... Alright." Silence ensued for a while. That is, until Mina decided to speak up. "Um... Jimin sunbae-nim?"

"Yeah?"

"My hands?"

Jimin looked down, confused. Once he realized what he was doing, he let go, immediately turning crimson. "S-sorry." He stuttered.

"It's alright." Mina smiled awkwardly. She had never been so thankful for a distraction in the form of their new cat, who had decided to start playfully chewing on a plastic wrapper on the floor.

"No, no, no, no! Don't eat that!" Jimin cried, comically rushing over to the kitten. Mina chuckled.

"Well, I guess we should get started, Sunbae-nim?" she commented.

He picked up the kitten, cradling it in his arms. "It's just Jimin." He said, turning to face her. "Oppa, if you'd like." He winked, before walking over to their grocery bags. She watched his ears turn red.

As hypothetical butterflies fluttered around in her stomach, Mina froze.

Oh no, she thought, I think I might just know what this weird feeling is.
